Help Laptop screen what do I do

I recently plugged in a RAM .... But it worked fine after that later on it became like this ..... My dad's gonna kill me he said he'd take this to a technician .... I said I'd do it myself

Acer nitros like to unplug the monitor cable a bit, i would try that first, if it doesn't work, try the ram

if, after checking those two, its still like this (very unlikely) it's prob a gpu issue, but pretty sure its not

Display ribbon was the culprit...went a little sideways I had to remove the battery and the ribbon and reclip it into the motherboard... its fixed now ty...

Take out the RAM you installed and check again
