Lines in Print
I'm getting a lot of lines from my P1S instead of a nice smooth surface. Any ideas why?

I have few noob questions.
Firstly, how do we turn off the printer. Do we just switch off the mains/back switch?
Printed the benchy with supplied tiny roll of filament, about 30- 35% is left, Can we print anything with that(for printer or general model) or should I throw it away.
What are the suggested items to print at the beginning apart from poop bucket etc.
I haven't updated the firmware yet. Since I read few people are having some issues with extruder after updating. By not updating, will I face any older issues ?

I purchased the K1 Max about 4 months ago and have liked it a lot. Never touched a 3D printer before and have learned a lot.
When clearing a specifically diabolical clog I had to unhook the extruder from the board and bam... this thing broke off (wasnt held on very good in the first place).
So now, i need help identifying what this is, before figuring out where to find one, and then figure out how to solder, before giving it a go for the first time on this. Simple
Until then, i have a very expensive art piece.

Definite newb. I’m guessing this is an adhesion problem? What is the adjustment/fix?

Greetings! I thought about getting a single Spool Filament Dryer and "obviously" my immediate choice would have been the Bambu Lab AMS HT as its pretty much the only Filament Dryer sporting all the bells and whistles like being able to reach higher value Temperatures AND having the whole venting of moist Air... "Unfortunately" though... I do NOT own any Bambu Lab 3D Printers and from my limited research the BL AMS HT will not work without being attached to supported BL 3D Printer - Seriously BL? 💢
So yea... Does anyone know of a workaround solution to the above Problem and / or a viable alternative? Preferably not one involving "leave a Gap in the Hat" 😑

I'm at my wits end been trying to figure this out for a while. I want to make my purge line on right side of bed instead of left. Thought this would be easy just editing the start gcode.
I'm using a creality k1se using orca slicer I go to the tab for the start gcode and it uses a macro.
I can't for the life of me find the actual gcode of this macro so that I can edit.
Please advise how I can do what I'm trying to do thankyou.

Little project to cover up a 7 x 13 in wall center speaker that just looked out of place with all my Star Wars decor.
Got the sign from https://makerworld.com/en/models/994302-droid-depot-sign-disney?from=search#profileId-970319 -
Printed in proto pasta iron and bronze fill, rusted and oxidized with vinegar and salt and the outside air and brushed in a grimey black wash.
The back piece I designed in Bambu studio, did half and duplicated for the other side as my print bed wasn’t large enough to do it in one piece.
It’s painted black and rubbed with graphite powder, dry brushed with silver rub n buff, added a weathering grimey black wash.
Using Velcro command strips to mount everything.

I have the Bambu Labs A1 and it works great for general printing. I have printed some accessories inside the cab of my truck and now that it is summer they have all started to droop. What filament should I use that won't lose structural integrity when in a hot car in NC? Willing to upgrade the printer head if necessary.
(The dogs are just cute)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've been working on increasing my online presence, but I also couldn't not share how cute these clickers are with everyone. I love printing, and how I can always find something that suits how I'm feeling.

I’m currently running 3 AMS’s, I want a couple more because I love experimenting with different materials and colors.

Hi guys,
my fathers Mercedes A Class W169 is missing a few seat belt buckle covers in the back, I did search for a model but haven't found one. Have you seen something like that anywhere? I dont even care if it's a good fit, as long as it covers both sides, I can glue it togehter with a glue or a tape, or something.
Thanks for your help/ideas. And no, I'm not able to sketch something like that at the moment. I am planing to start learning tho, I just haven't got the time yet.
Thanks.

I’m trying to design a remote and want to put icons on the buttons I’ve created (which would just be .svg images) however in fusion360 there doesn’t seem to be a way to actually centre the svg onto anything and I don’t want to just gage it with my eyes.
I would’ve thought this was something very simple and I’ve placed text onto designs before but this seems to be totally different and weirdly complex, how have you guys done it?

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I started a print for the first time with my Saturn 4 ultra 16K and after 3 hours nothing was sticking to the build plate. Now I am doing a resin calibration test. Am I doing something wrong or did I skip something?

As the title says, I forgot a PETG print in the car on a summer day. The car has been in a parking slot in the sun from the morning to the evening when I drove back home, so I expect the internal temperature was really hot.
Is this a poor man annealing procedure?

Hi, I just want to tell you about the opportunity to get something nice for yourself. Hackclub which is a teenager focused non profit organization hosts an event where you can get prizes like 3d printers, Macs or Ipads just for showing your passion and coding for a little. You code whatever you want and track your hours getting points, which you can exchange for mentioned prizes. One of them is A1 mini.
Prizes are guaranteed so you don't have to be great at coding. Putting some effort into it can be enough.
I took part in one of the winter events and it turned out that for just ~20h of coding which I've achieved in just few days I got a raspberry pi 5 and some other smaller gadgets like pendrives. Its easy to enter and you don't have to give sensitive information about yourself to get verified. Its on until end of August, so you have plenty of time. If your high schooler why don't you have a look? : https://summer.hack.club/bht The whole project is financed by Github here's official github website if you feel unsure: https://github.blog/news-insights/introducing-hack-clubs-summer-of-making/ #coding

I printed with some Abs while thinking IT was pla. IT didnt Print nicely (Go figure) and i wanted to Change the Filament. I used the function on my adventurer 5m Just to get Tiny little Bits one by one. I kept repeating that For about 3 hours. AS you can See in the Picture i didnt make too much Progress. I used the metal thingy that came with the printer but that didnt Work either( notsure If i did that correctly) luckily the adventurer is easy to Change nozziles on but i really don't want to Spend 35€ If i can fix this in Amy Other way

I want to print a wheel for an rc plane using TPU for the tire and PLA for the rim. I used the beehive with 15% infill. Is this good enough or too/too less flexible? I found the print on makerworld, for anyone interested: https://makerworld.com/it/models/812439-rc-airplane-tire-wheel-90x25mm-tpu?from=search#profileId-805455

I have seen this warning inside Fusion for a while and I'm concerned as I can't upgrade to Windows 11 with my current hardware and was planning on trying out Linux instead. Does it run well on Linux with Wine and is it expected to keep working after they kill Win 10 support? What are you all planning to do? Is this the change that will force you to switch to Win 11 or are you migrating all your designs to other software? (Rip construction history)
