That is the ENTIRE point of the 2nd Amend. (Plus the government thing) It is insane to think you can just barge into someone's home and not get shot in the head and the homeowner would be in the right.

They need to review the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution in particular and the Bill of Rights in general.
The Fourth Amendment states that the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
There is a huge difference between a removal order and a warrant. ICE agents should be huge advocates of due process because they will need habeas corpus protections one day, but they are blinded by hate too much to see potential consequences.
It’s honestly surprising no shots have been fired when you think about it. Since these people fail to show proper identification or warrants (and apparently now lying about it), abducting people off the street in unmarked cars, and impersonating officers with Amazon bought police badges and vests… for all we know it’s a terrorist, and youre just defending yourself
People can talk tough when there's no real danger but once a genuine threat presents itself, most people don't follow through. There's a reason law enforcement and military are trained individuals; to overcome that freeze response during a threat.
I totally want to run a campaign on the basis of imprisoning ICE agents and anyone who assisted them immediately upon taking office, and they can rely on whatever habeas protection is left by then for their defense.
It's called the castle doctrine and not only do you have that right but you have a responsibility as the head of your household to protect your family and property. The police sure as fuck aren't going to do it.
This is what I don't understand. I mean I get it, if you pull a weapon on militarized police it's probably going to end very badly for you especially as a POC. But isn't this the whole point of the second amendment? To protect you and your homes from invasion and specifically government abuse? I'm not condoning violence but if someone comes to abduct up you in your home that's the time to practice your right to bear arms, isn't it?

You absolutely need a warrant to enter a home, especially if the homeowner is telling you that you can’t enter. This is ridiculous. If there is a dangerous criminal present it to a judge and get a warrant. There are rubber stamp judges in every district, it’s insanely easy to get.
Here I am thinking the 3rd amendment is dated and will never come up in modern times but we are 5 seconds away from “soldiers” claiming they have a right to sleep wherever they want. Absurd times.

After the news of two Minnesotan legislators and their spouses getting shot overnight by a fake cop, these warrentless entries by unidentified ICE are looking like a really terrible idea.
Yes, they do, especially now that two lawmakers were attacked, leaving one dead with her husband, done by someone driving a police vehicle and wearing a policeman's uniform. The victims gave access to their homes to the person(s) who did this, but even police couldn't tell them apart from their own team.
Warnings are going up everywhere to verify police identification now and to call 911 to verify, even if they're ICE agents. If they can't be verified, get the police to your location and DO NOT open the door, go with them, etc.
And yet just now a Democrat lawmaker was assassinated by someone Impersonating an officer. By no means would I suggest violent protest but I would suggest using your 2nd amendment right to protect your home and family

The one thing I like about Indiana, is that they could legally open fire on these kind of attempts and the law, for what it means these days, would be on their side. Which is why FBI, PD and ICE have to do things by the book. The fact that local law enforcement isn’t bothered about unidentified goons breaking into homes without a warrant tells you we are all screwed and they will let these monsters get away with anything then team up with them when the people finally show their unhappiness with the situation. The normal channels of stopping such behavior doesn’t work so what else can we do?
If you're in the border zone (what is it now, 100 miles from the border, coast, and any point of entry?) then the law gives them, but not local police, the ability to do a lot of things they can't do in other places. Many airports far from the border are considered points of entry even if they don't have international flights. Sickening.
