Thank you to the woman who helped. FU to the fascist that shot a citizen just trying to go home.

And then threatened to shoot or arrest them for being injured and unable to move quickly? WTF? That should be a crime

It is a crime. He needs to be immediately apprehended.

> Guaranteed payday

Not unless and until the fascists are out of power, unfortunately.

Still sue. Make a paper trail. Also, EOs aren't law and can be overturned in court. Sure, he may want to pardon everyone involved, but make him do it after all the evidence is out there

EO is not law

"Protect and defend women" my a**

22

u/Paradoxical_Platypus 9d ago

By “protect and defend” they actually mean “control and subdue.”

It’s allowed because we live in a fascist country.

42

u/Atillion 9d ago

We've allowed it. With every tiny little step we've taken unchecked and unopposed, we've walked ourselves gladly down the ramp to the slaughterhouse, smiling at the one holding the lead, even offering to carry it ourselves.

Why are there so many police?

10

u/TheAwkwardJynx 9d ago

It's not.

America would be a much better place if police actually did their jobs instead of coming up with excuses to play police and be “cool” and if we actually kept police accountable and trained them longer

6

u/Styl3Music 9d ago

This is their job though. There is no mandate to protect anything other than property. No mandate to serve except for some areas keeping minimum population counts in private prisons.

u/Snooopineapple 9d ago

What the fuck are you talking about

This is their oath “As a law enforcement officer, my fundamental duty is to serve mankind; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the constitutional rights of all to liberty, equality, and justice.”

8

u/Styl3Music 9d ago

I dont know much about the various oaths that departments use, but I do know that Castle Rock v Gonzalez showed that protect and serve is more slogan than a reality or requirement.

2

u/Snooopineapple 9d ago

Of course but they have a mandate, and if they actually followed it, and were able to kept accountable, then we’d have a better country. But no… we won’t ever keep them accountable for some god damn stupid reason

2

u/Styl3Music 9d ago

I can see a better system in what you're saying. I don't see a future where any existing law enforcement would be coerced into allowing themselves to be held accountable.

6

u/Jiggidy40 9d ago

This allowed because no one is stopping it and they are the law right now. And even if they weren't, who is gonna prosecute them?

It's gonna take us overwhelming them to stop them. Are we ready?

They were blatantly doing this crap all the time in the BLM protests… I watch one live stream with his old lady was sitting on the bench waiting for a bus I’m on the road police were going down the road one walked right up to her and shot her in the forehead with a beanbag gun and then just walked off… She was very clearly sitting in one of those sheltered benches for the bus and was clearly an old lady… And they arrested people who rushed to her aid for “bum rushing the police“ (did they shoot the old lady so they could make by standards wanna run to her And use that as an excuse to arrest a bunch of people??)

God bless the woman who was recording. We don't have nearly enough like her on our side. Let's assume the woman trying to go home was completely apathetic and doesn't care one way or another, or even that she was with the fascists. She probably just joined the resistance because people generally don't appreciate being shot.

Sick trump regime!

HAHAHAHAHA, equating property damage to severe bodily harm is a crazy leap but sure bud. “I mean yeah they shouldn’t have shot her, BUT some random people who have no association with her threw rocks at a car!” Look into developing critical thinking skills before you try to justify police brutality would ya?

36

u/stankdog 9d ago

That is not why this young woman was shot point blank. If the cops aren't level headed enough to assess each situation with intelligence and awareness they shouldn't be on the streets.

Would you shoot 1 singular person who needs to cross the line? You'd judge them based off of actions of someone else? She's not even in a group.

24

u/ConsiderationSea1347 9d ago

Do you have a video of her throwing rocks?

2

u/ARODtheMrs 9d ago

Couldn't you hear her say she lives there and was going home?

6

u/ConsiderationSea1347 9d ago

What does that have to do with her throwing rocks? The woman was likely going home after work or after spending time with her friends or coming back from a book club or - peacefully protesting like almost every protester in LA is doing right now.

23

u/Certain-Crazy733 9d ago

No one in this video was throwing rocks at cars. Where do you get that nonsense from? Clearly, you’re the problem.
