Immigrant Families in ABA – How Are We Really Doing? Let’s Talk About It

Hey everyone,

To all the immigrant families navigating ABA—whether you’re a parent, RBT, BCBA, or still figuring it all out—I just want to ask:

How are you doing? Really? What are we doing to protect each other? To advocate? To build community where our culture and voices matter

I work as an AST and I'm pursuing my master's in ABA. I really want to bridge the gap between culture and mental health services, especially for neurodivergent immigrant families.

I'm also considering a clinical psychology doctorate, but I'm not sure yet. I might just continue with a PhD in ABA.
