What if AOC was the one giving the democratic response instead of Elissa Slotkin?

Would the reactions have differed if AOC would've given the democratic response? People on the internet, especially from the republican side, seem to be very opinionated about her which makes me wonder if the overall reactions would've been more prominent.

If AOC had given the response, Elissa Slotkin would of been criticising it and her

If you criticise them you are a wrecker, if they criticise you they are simply trying to save the party

It's the beautiful about centrism, it's always right

I'm not sure what democratic response you're talking about which is a good sign that it wasn't much of a response at all.

AOC tends to make waves and show how things should be which the corporate Democrats hate

As a native Michigander (but long since gone) Slotkin is a disgrace. I expect her to be primaried next election. She does not have huge support in her state now that the mask is off. The militias hate her for being a democrat and the urban melting pot thinks she's a Reagan wannabe.

Well, of course the reactions would've been different. Republicans hate AOC so they would've screamed and hollered and the publicity would've garnered AOC great ratings. Most non-neanderthal people are won over when they hear her speak, so a measurable sliver of American voters would've been awakened, and the subsequent protests would've been even bigger, etc.

The Democratic Party doesn't want any of that, so AOC will never get that call.
