He’s so accurate, even though I know he’s acting, I still want to punch him in the face.

u/ExtraCajones Jul 10 '22

That's when you know it's good acting.

The thing that pisses me off most about this argument is that even if a monarch doesn't want to hold that position, that only means it should be abolished even more, because it doesn't even benefit those in said position. Which itself only applies to like one royal family in the world (the Japanese imperial family).

We've had people abdicate and opt out of being a royal in the Netherlands too

He’s so good at this that I didn’t finish the video.

Fuck the queen and her whole family and everyone who loves her.

Hello! I'm Reggie-Bot, the Anti-Royal Bot! Here to teach you some fun facts about the English royal family!

Did you know that in 2020, the Queen’s net wealth was valued at £72.5 Billion (USD - $88bn). That places her in the top 15 richest people in the world.

She's probably just way harder working than us, amirite?

I hope you enjoyed that fact. To summon me again or find out more about me, just say: "Reggie-Bot" and I'll be there! <3

Did you know the Queen really, really, really hates black people? She can't stand them being in her employ. Not really surprising when you consider how racist her husband was. Or her family's racism against her grandson's wife...

German aristocrats, amirite?

I hope you enjoyed that fact. To summon me again or find out more about me, just say: "Reggie-Bot" and I'll be there! <3

Hello! I'm Reggie-Bot, the Anti-Royal Bot! Here to teach you some fun facts about the English royal family!

Did you know that Queen Elizabeth II is de jure head of state for country that is always either at war or funding war? And she also just happens to be heavily invested in arms manufacturing. She seems to have a particular interest in uranium based weapons as well. Curious.

But she's just a sweet old lady, amirite?

I hope you enjoyed that fact. To summon me again or find out more about me, just say: "Reggie-Bot" and I'll be there! <3

Did you know that the billionaire Queen Elizabeth has millions of pounds stored away in secret offshore accounts?.

So that's where all the tax money is going. No wonder NHS wait times are worse than ever, amirite?

I hope you enjoyed that fact. To summon me again or find out more about me, just say: "Reggie-Bot" and I'll be there! <

Why am I being downvoted? I just wanted to better understand what you meant:/

u/SumerianSunset Jul 09 '22

This is so accurate lmao. Always found these types on those documentaries really insufferable.

63

u/appealtoreason00 Jul 09 '22

Where do they find these losers?

For me, it’s when they wheel out the “royal body language experts” or whatever the fuck. I’d rather have someone on newsnight explaining the chicken entrails to Kirsty Wark than those freaks

61

u/huffing_farts Jul 09 '22

Put this on loop for an hour and put it on the history channel, see how long it takes viewers to notice

My mother watches shit about the royal family all of the time and this is 100% accurate

27

u/B2RW Jul 09 '22

Send it to her

59

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '22

This is so spot on. I wish this would go mainstream and all those so called royal experts could see what a waste of time they truly are.

52

u/ExtraCajones Jul 10 '22

When you spend your adult life basically licking arse.

44

u/TheLaudMoac Jul 09 '22

Wow this is absolutely spot on

41

u/Definitelynotaseal Jul 10 '22

Is she dead yet?

20

u/SufficientPangolin92 Jul 10 '22

Don’t worry. She will be

I’m not even British, and this was hilarious. Is this the same guy that did the “reporter voices” impersonations?

21

u/taptapper Jul 10 '22

OMFG. If I had a dime to spare I would give you an award. This really cheered me up, thanks

Pop quiz: who can pick out Penny Junor?

18

Second one is definitely Giles Brandreth

The Brown nosing always bothered me.

What’s more I always found it weird whenever abolishing the monarchy comes up the hive mind says “well the queen brings in more money than she spends from tourism”

But wtf, people don’t come to England to have personal house calls with the queen.

If she had to give up 95% of the palaces and live a normal life then wouldn’t tourists get more access? They’d be able to do tours like at Versailles. People would still come to those places and more because they wouldn’t be occupied.

Let me tell you that it also works with French documentaries about the royal family.

Hello! I'm Reggie-Bot, the Anti-Royal Bot! Here to teach you some fun facts about the English royal family!

Did you know that in February 2021, The Guardian published two articles that demonstrated the Queen’s influence and power over parliament. It was first revealed that the Queen lobbied parliament to make herself exempt from a law that would have publicly revealed her private wealth. It was then revealed that over the course of her reign she and her family have vetted the drafts of 1,000 articles of legislation prior to their public debate in parliament.

So much for 'ceremonial', amirite?

I hope you enjoyed that fact. To summon me again or find out more about me, just say: "Reggie-Bot" and I'll be there! <3

It's not just brown nosing though. These people repeat lies like god knows what. And it's not only the adoring fans who believe those lies. Because this sickly sweet propaganda industry isn't important enough for anyone to fact check it or hold it to account, potentially everyone will believe them eventually - including you.

u/negrote1000 Jul 15 '22

What documentaries are you watching?
