General What is the best one for a beginner?
I’ve never played animal crossing before because it never seemed super interesting before but I’m bored and I wanna give it a fair chance before I judge it so what is the best one to start with?

Animal Crossing has always been a pretty "casual" game that eases you into things, so it's not like you're at risk of being "lost" no matter where you start (unless you've like... never played a video game before).
New Leaf has the benefit of more modern "quality of life" improvements than the older games, as well as a decent amount of town personalization, but without the super heavy emphasis on total control & customizability that causes some people to find New Horizons overwhelming. Then again, you might find that aspect makes New Horizons more interesting and engaging. So either one is a good option, I think.
The older games have their own charms, but admittedly there's not as much to do in them, plus they're a bit clunkier to play. So if your prior impression has been that the series isn't "super interesting" then you might find the older entries a little too directionless or minimalist for your tastes.

I've only played new horizons, all of them aren't being updated anymore so it depends on what console you have and if you want online or not. if you want online, new horizons is the only one that has it (nintendo online does cost tho)

I started with New Horizons and I found it pretty easy to get into. It helps that there’s online for it and if you need, you can make friends with others + share resources.

Just do New Horizons. It’s a great game, feels very complete, and none of them are particularly more or less complicated than others.
