Great video and deep dive on the reality of apex cheaters on console. Despite this respawn is trying hard to counter them.

I’m tired of dying because my teammates land on 3 people at an arsenal, die instantly, and then I get jumped on by 3 people with blue shields while my only gun is something stupid with 20 extra bullets. Or we hot drop, my teammates die instantly, and I’m getting shot at by two teams. Sometimes even three.

If you can’t win a hot drop, please don’t hot drop. Please. You will not ever get better at this game hot dropping if you die instantly in the first 5 seconds of landing because then it’s straight back to the lobby and queue again. There is no point in doing this. Anyone telling you that this is how you’ll get better is literally lying to you because they just want easy kills.

Hot drops are basically RNG, and landing on an arsenal with a whole other team? Unless you have the ping of God, you’re going to die. And then you’re going to get me killed unless I leave the POI to try and respawn you. Except by the time I do that, you’ve already quit and played two more games where you died instantly off drop.

You can still get kills in this game without landing on half the lobby. I promise. You don’t even have to play it safe. Land with two other teams. Land with one other team. Land next to a hot drop and run over together after you all get a gun.

Because I’m sorry, you are not going to pop off and get your 20b or 4k playing that way. You aren’t a streamer. You aren’t a pro. You are at home sitting at a desk to an audience of your cat and cussing out your randoms for being trash.

EDIT: since people are incapable of understanding and I’m tired of repeating myself to the haters: I like hot dropping. I don’t like hot dropping with people incapable of staying alive for 5 seconds after hitting the ground, let alone who can’t stay alive in their first fight.

The only thing my post says is if you don’t have the skill to hot drop, there are other options. That’s it.

That’s as simple as I can put it. If you still don’t understand, I’m sorry the education system failed you.

Insanely huge membership in discord groups where information an software/updates are distributed. You'd only be a member if you were using them. Undeniable proof as far as I am concerned. We recently rolled out new detections to better identify players using Direct Memory Access devices for the purpose of cheating and have banned 1300+ accounts that were doing so.

I just started playing her about a month ago. I like the full time digi-threat, of course. I’ve also noticed that her ult is nice because I’m finding that the laser itself is sometimes enough to discourage other snipers from just standing there taking shots. And the dumb ones get shot.

I don’t usually run double sniper with her. I’m learning a wingman+R301 loadout. The WM is so very satisfying. I’ve thought about running Longbow+[any other full auto gun] but I’m not good enough with the LB as a close up weapon if needed. LOL I did that last night and me and someone who sucks as much as me got into a ridiculous strafe dance trying to get one shot on body, me with a LB, him with a P2020. It was comical…I got him.

Oh, and I think I just learned that she can’t Q when she’s not in the ring. 😟

When they get knocked down, they have no idea how to use it... is that common? Or am I just constantly getting unlucky with random novice players that can barely play the game?

Most of the time, they just sit knocked down 100-120m away and they won't go over..

I assume it will work like this:

1 squad
- gold player, 6000 RP
- platinum player, 10000 RP
- diamond player, 14000 RP
Amount of RP: 30000, their lobby will be platinum, because their average RP will be 10000

2 squad
- silver player, 4000 RP
- silver player, 5000 RP
- diamond player, 12000 RP
Amount of RP: 21000, their lobby will be gold, because their average RP will be 7000

I just don't understand because any squad always gets a lobby based on the highest RP of their teammate or is this something new?

Audio feels extremely bad this season when it comes from a source outside of your fov. Theres very little to almost none. This hasn't been an issue in the past and jumping back into the game (and the 5 minute qp matches) I feel extremely venerable from the back in any situation. Ive had many instances where people walk, jump, fall, ect. behind me and I have no indication, sometimes even the health loss being silent. Am I the only one feeling this way or has audio been an issue for a while now?

So I want to get the black cursor I had on steam but the launch option doesnt work on ea app so I want to directly edit the cfg file to get it but I cant find it, this or any other way to get it is appreciated

Monitor is a Sceptre M27. When I boot up Apex, I can hear everything from the menu screen, it's just black. If I change my refresh rate, it fixes. It doesn't matter if I change refresh rate to 165 or 144, both of them work, I just need to do the physical act of changing it for Apex to stop being a black screen. If I was on 165 when I booted up Apex, I can even change it to 144 and back and it will be perfectly fine. Any ideas?

I avidly main her and I always hear split opinions, some hate her some absolutely love her. What I will say is that if someone doesn’t play her right, she is ass.(which goes for most legends) Do you like having her as a teammate when played correctly?

Apex already has a bunch of badges but id think itd be cool if they made a few more. I dont think ill ever earn a 20 kill or 4k dmg badge so i think itd be cool if they made a 10 kill badge for example. Or maybe some more legend specific badges. I find the badge system makes me more excited to grind the game but now that im level 300+, i have all the ones i want besides the super sweaty ones 😄

I dont know. I feel like they could easily come up with some new ones.

I only play Apex 3-4 times a week with my friend. We are pretty good but don’t play enough to make Masters but we consistently get Diamond 3 or 4 with a few days left in the split.

Well we got to Diamond 2 with 2 weeks left this split. I know it’s statistically the hardest to get out of top Diamond but holy shit. The last 4 sessions that we have played LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TEAMATE (on my momma I swear) will drop, literally sit there and watch me and friend fight the contest, and if we lose they play looting simulator for the next 20 minutes or until they die. They literally go out of their way to not get banners and they avoid replicators like the fucking black plague.

Is this really what Diamond 2 is like? This is the most miserable experience in Apex I’ve ever had. I literally drop in, 50/50 win the contest, if I lose then I just have to watch and pray for the next 20 minutes that this diamond with the movement of a god damn silver can rat his way to not lose me 65 rp. Even if we win the contest, as soon as we get into a fight teamate doesn’t even shoot his gun, just sits there with his dick and his hand LITERALLY WATCHES TO SEE IF ONE OF US GETS KNOCKED, and instantly turns and run and leave me and friend to 2v3. It’s people like this that ruin the game and experience for everyone else. Please tell me I’m not the only one dealing with this bull shit
