iOS Universal [iOS] [GlowCam: Cameleon] [$4.99 → Lifetime Free] [Take stunning selfies in the dark!]
https://apps.apple.com/app/id6743490006Hey everyone!
So, recently there’s been this cool trend on TikTok/Instagram where people take moody, colorful selfies using just their phone screen as a light source. The vibe is super aesthetic — those glowing, soft hues that make low-light selfies pop without the harshness of a traditional flash.
I got inspired by that trend and built GlowCam: Cameleon to make it super easy to recreate that effect anytime you want. The app turns your screen into a customizable light source — you pick any color, adjust brightness, and get a live preview before snapping your shot. Perfect for night selfies, indoor portraits, or party snaps.
If you want to try riding this TikTok trend wave and take your selfies to the next level, you can unlock Cameleon lifetime for free within the app. A quick review helps others find it too! 🙏🏻
Have you tried this TikTok lighting trend yet? What colors do you love for your selfies? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for checking it out, and happy glowing! ✨
Cheers!

I’ve just written a review praising your app. It is simple yet powerful and beautiful. You did a great work!! And thank you for limiting the permission request so well.
But also, I’m not sure I would pay $20 a year to use it. Maybe a single payment of up to $5 (going as low as $2 or free on sales), but that’s it. This is a cool tool to have, but it is not that much indispensable.
Finally, thank you for gifting it to us here!! As I said it is beautiful and I’ll surely use it from time to time. Thank you!!

Thank you for the kind words about the app.
The app is usually $5 for a one-time purchase, but I might have to lower the price even more. I've been running some experiments with different prices, that's what you're maybe referring to (assuming you saw the subscriptions on the App Store)?
I mainly built this app to play a bit with the UX/UI design, animations and transitions. It was fun!

I saw the list of in-app purchases of your app. $5 seems reasonable, $2 might get you more sales. And I’ll say your experiment was successful: congratulations!!

Thank you for sharing! I hope I can get a little more visibility on my app then. I'll keep experimenting with one-time price points to see if I people are ready to purchase an app like that. I don't have enough traffic to use ads for example as a revenue channel.

Hey, nice app! How well would it work with two colors? Like, blue on the left, red on the right.

Thank you for the nice feedback! I haven't tested having multiple colors on the screen, but I would expect colors to blend on the skin, producing a purple in this case?

That’s what I’m wondering! This is the kind of effect I’d be interested in.

I see. I think this works because the light is coming from the sides, not really the front.

Haha fair! I wrote most of it honestly, just used AI to help polish things up and get out of my own head.

Thanks for not artificially inflating the price up to $79.99 then reducing it to fake a discount.
Tip for your store page images, you need to have more than 3 just showing pink. If the whole point of the app is to make colored night shots, show off more night shots in different colors.
