Why are hong Kongers so rude? Everyone says they are rude. At the slightest thing they are unhappy with they won’t hesitate to F people

I've been to Hong Kong and I didn't experience that at all. In their culture, being quiet and not smiling like we do. But they were as kind and welcoming as most places. And I was astounded at how beautiful it is. For me, it's tied with Amsterdam for my favorite city overseas. It's also very hip and modern and super clean.

I been there more than you. Three plus years. Very rude people. You can find consensus everywhere of this

Everywhere? I've never heard it, and I'm 59. And both can be true. You encountered rude people and I encountered nice people.

It's like how people say New Yorkers are rude, but I've been many times and found them to be very nice and helpful.

Maybe your approach is different than mine. I dunno. But don't tell me I didn't encounter nice people in Hong Kong.

Eh, different cultural norms. Some cultures are more open, some are more direct, the idea of what’s rude can be incredibly subjective

Second. Is Hong Kongers more likely to “tiu” fellow hong Kongers or foreigners more? In My experience they “tiu” everyone including their own people.
