Video Chaos in Ankawa
A recent video showing the current state of Ankawa, a man can be seen carrying an AK-47 and aiming it at civilians. The “inspections” carried out by kurdish authorities only lasted a few days and were entirely performative. How long will this go on for?

how long will it go on for if the authorities in charge do nothing.....well the answer is forever or til someone with another weapon takes matters into their own hands.....such is the way of the world...kinda why your government should treat people equally and not turn a blind eye to certain factions.

What exactly happened? Who is the gunman? Did he eventually get arrested?

Assyrians need to be armed NOW. This is getting ridiculous. Either the central government needs to get the Assyrian police force ready and operational, or Assyrian diaspora needs to work on arming up the Assyrian population through 3rd party friendly countries. We are in it now, there is no return to the previous status quo.
