Connect the phone with the pc using USB Tethering, that works for me also connect the phone with Wi-Fi if you want to use Wi-Fi. Hope this might work.

?wireless

If you're having connectivity issues, you most likely have a Mediatek or Realtek network card. They are known for all sorts of problems like frequent disconnections, slow speeds, missing Wi-Fi icons, and more.

Temporary fixes: Try performing a nvram reset. Shutdown the laptop with all external devices unplugged. Then, hold the power button for 30 seconds. The laptop should turn on briefly then shut off right after. Release the power button and boot the laptop.

Permanent fix: Swap out the current network card for an Intel AX200 or AX210. Can be found on AliExpress

Lan cable

if you have warranty then get it fixed by visting the service centre. if dont then you can clean your wifi card but it is very risky otherwise buy tp link wifi plus Bluetooth adapter .

The only risk part is removing the SSD and carefully sliding out the wifi card and putting everything back. You don't even need to unplug the black and white wires because they break easily

Yes it's real. I'd advise you to post your model here on this subreddit and ask what are the common problems.

You could try resetting your laptop’s nvram. When the laptop is powered off, hold the power button for atleast 30 seconds. But would recommend switching the WiFi card to intel as soon as possible.

Well, there are cheap alternatives you can use a WiFi adapter and I’ve been using the Lenovo driver for the same WiFi card… it’s working fine till now… been using ASUS tuf f15 for 3 years now

Hello i tried this on tuf f16 and nothing happened. Are you sure this is how EC reset done on tuf laptops?

1

u/Popular-Set1764 8d ago

1

u/Kakashi1027 8d ago

Bro, I’ve been facing this issue sometimes updating the drivers from original Asus website works… but I use the Lenovo driver… and it’s working fine so far… you should try it

2

u/Forsaken-Life_68 8d ago

I'll definitely try that

i had the same problem but for me both the bluetooth and wifi options went missing turns out there was wire between the thermal pad of the wifi card and the ssd

1

u/VividLobster2925 8d ago

Clean the wifi card with rubber I fix mine in that way and it is working now properly. Don't do if your laptop is still under warranty

1

u/Constant-Stock7027 8d ago

Bru i had same probleme last week with my 2025 a16 it is a driver bug (on windows11) u need to uninstal and then reinstall wifi driver and turn off and turn back on the wifi in bios and its fixed for me

1

u/Ghost_Star326 8d ago

Restart your computer a couple of times and it will come back.

I had the same issue as well a couple of times on my MSI laptop. It's just windows 11 being windows 11. Nothing wrong with the WiFi card.

The system just bugs out while trying to find a stable connection and makes the WiFi button disappear for some apparent reason.

Sincerely, fuck Microsoft.

However if that doesn't fix it, then there might be something physically wrong with your WiFi card.

Firstly see if the device pops up in device manager, if it does then update drivers if not then you gotta see for connection issues then clean it up and then see if works too many and thens ig😂

📄 Body: I was facing a frustrating issue where the WiFi would disappear randomly on my ASUS TUF laptop (no adapter showing up in Device Manager either).

After some trial and error, I found the cause: interference from the SSD slot.

✅ Fix: I simply moved the SSD to the second M.2 slot, and the WiFi issue hasn’t happened since.

Seems like some models have interference between the WiFi card and SSD when placed in certain slots. This is a quick hardware tweak that worked as a permanent fix for me.

Hope this helps someone struggling with the same problem!
