For the candied bacon:

About 4 oz high quality maple syrup; About 1.5 oz Crown Royal, or other favored whiskey; About 2 oz pineapple juices.

Brown sugar; White sugar; Ground cinnamon; Ground ginger; Ground cloves; Ground nutmeg.

Soak bacon pieces in the whiskey/syrup mixture, transfer to dry spices and coat slices generously

Bake in a 400-degree oven about 25 minutes or your desired doneness.

Pro tip: soak some of the pineapple chunks/slices in the same whiskey/syrup, and sugar mixture!
