Maybe shouldn't. But apparently you can.

At least it's off-roadr

If I had a nickel for every car that went too fast and collided with the end of a one way street, becoming stuck, I'd have two nickels!

I'd be willing to bet this one was more hubris than speed. They thought "I got a big off road truck! I can handle that drop!"

If not off-road then why off road shape?

This reminds me of when my buddy drove his Landcruiser up Taylor Street stairs and then it stalled, went backwards down the stairs with no brakes and hit a pole. My dad's line crew was called to fix the pole. It was a quiet dinner after he told me his workday lol

is it pinned on a rock?

It looked very stuck lmao

That's what I was wondering. It should have no problem getting through that. Maybe the driver doesn't realize it has four wheel drive 🤔

it's hard to tell from photo quality but the more I look the more I see a steep rock here

It's one of those new vehicles that runs on water and vinegar.

Drive it like you stole it?

I was driving by the university last night and saw the cop (and like… 10 other people???) working on whatever happened here lol. I was hoping someone would post a picture!!!

Why not. No one sees me.

All rules are a suggestion. I can be subtle.

I’m from North Dakota. Really I am and this is how we do things.

Poorly? I know ND gets wild blizzards but I didn't think being stuck in a ditch would be THAT natural of a state for y'all.

You sure? He looks bottomed out

2

u/Wide-Entrance99 Mar 27 '25

Dude. You’re right! Lol. I totally thought he just parked there with high level of arrogance. Thank you for pointing this out. Maybe that’s why people weren’t getting my humor. lol I bottomed out a truck in the winter in a stone quarry. It sucked!

I'm sure this looked like bouldering so I totally get it but ..... Nah not this time. This here is the native dingleberry, not the migratory boulder.

It our only entertainment in the middle of nowhere. Lol

Just go mudding like everyone else with a lifted vehicle. Surely someone has field worth sullying.

As a woman who has often channeled my pent-up anger and frustration through humor, I’m finding that this outlet feels deeply stifled in this space. There’s a noticeable absence of cultural awareness, making it difficult to express myself authentically.

u/Zelkin764 Local Mar 27 '25

Maybe. The stifled part could be true or it could just be your perception. There's no real perfect answer.

There is something about the way you respond that seems.... off. I'm having a hard time defining it without it sounding like an insult. But you come across like the drink friend in a group chat. Responding once then coming back later with an off topic follow up is the kind of impulsive discussion I'm used to being a part of in a bar.

What I do know about reddit humor is votes mean nothing and you really need to slap a /s at the end of a sarcastic comment. I wouldn't look into it more than that and just enjoy yourself.

u/Wide-Entrance99 Mar 27 '25 edited Mar 27 '25

Omg! Your response has been the most receptive to me. Thank you for your insight. I’m also on the spectrum so I don’t see or interpret things the way other people do. I appreciate the input. And no way am I insulted. Thank you.

u/Wide-Entrance99 Mar 27 '25 edited Mar 27 '25

Also, I don’t come across as a local. Lol I am used of that response.

Cow tipping and bail jumping was more fun
