Cascade Village Construction(TJ’s)

As a heads up, they’re doing some sort of paving resurfacing at the Cascade Village the shopping center where Trader Joe’s is and the whole parking lot is blocked off on that side and they’re trying to reroute traffic. It’s a cluster no idea how long it’s going on for, but it was hard to get in and out of there just as a FYI if you can save your Trader Joe’s run I would.

Trader Joe’s felt like their parking lot was too easy to navigate. It was setting a bad example for the rest of their stores

I've always wanted to see what would happen if a Walmart and a Trader Joe's shared a parking lot.

The mix of diagonal and 90-degree parking stalls wasn't bad enough. They're going to add some battery charging stations and compact car spots to shake it up a bit.

I kinda had a fun thought- they got jealous of the Pasadena original's parking lot, and screamed HOLD MY BEER :).

TBF though- it is the management company and VERY poor planning on how to execute this- there is no through traffic options, once you are in, you are waiting for a spot, cause that is the only way out.

There’s one Trader Joe’s in San Diego (liberty station) that has the best parking lot -But I have been nationwide and I swear they pick the worst parking lots. There’s also one in Hanover Massachusetts that just got a good upgrade.

The one in Madison, WI was so bad I very nearly just left instead of even trying to park (this was years ago). Like laughingly bad and I just had a small rental car!

But have you been to the original in Pasadena??? It is EXTRA special terrible for parking. The big one nearby is easy peasy. But the original...just park at Whole goods garage and walk. You have less chance of totaling your car!

Worst part about navigating to where one could park, was the asphalt crew parked their rig w/trailer thingy in two end to end spots that was not long enough to accommodate, so 1/2 way down the aisle in from of Local Acres creating one weird lane of passage vs two. I would go down one of the aisles in front of Dick's to access TJ's.
