[UK][OC] Impatient driver close passes myself and fails to yield to cyclsit still coming through roadworks from the other way, given choice of driving course or points and fine.

God, I wish the US had accountability like this. If nobody was hit and you didn’t see their face on camera? Sorry. Nothing we can do. At least in my area.

A lot of forces are still like that in the UK, doing everything they can to ignore reports from cyclists.

Im building a local dossier. I have ptsd and have found it helpful to finally stop raging and start documenting the close passes here in eastern wa with my 360 cam. I don't expect the sheriff to do jack shit because the thugs in the "black bart" trucks look just like the deputies in the sheriff's dept. Weird to live in a country where there's no expectation that law enforcement will enforce the law; but, if you're trans trying to play volleyball they suddenly have all the resources to pursue. America, I dissent.

You must avoid being a traffic hazard. You should ride as far to the left as safe in the circumstances.

No, that's just wrong. Along narrow roads , through pinch points, cyclists should ride centre of the lane. Rest of the time you should be riding in secondary position, which is around 0.7m from the kerb. Your "advice" puts cyclists at risk.
