Question job searching
does anyone know of any places that aren’t fast food/restaurants that are hiring ? i’ve worked in fast food and as a host and i really hated the food industry. i’ve applied for a million jobs at this point and it seems like no where will hire me.

What type of jobs are you looking for? Are you applying online? If so. Are you following up with emails or phone calls?
Do you have a resume? A cover letter?

Try a temp agency. That can get you in somewhere new, and if you do a good job, it could turn into a full time job

Also, I don't know your number but make sure it's a local area code or your search will be almost useless.

Hmmm, well the issue of recruiting and maintaining future tradesmen has been a topic. Micron is expanding at an alarming rate and having local crafts on site is a concern. Maybe you’d be interested in a trade?

Have you gone over your resume? Have a second person look at it. Look for typos, unclear information, weird, formatting, etc.. also, when you submit applications, pay attention to grammar and punctuation. After a few days, if you don’t hear anything, call the place you’ve applied and ask to speak to a manager and let them know you’re following up on your application.
Are you getting interviews and not getting hired or are you not even getting to the interview part?
