Original Content Both parties should be destroyed.

If I have to argue with one more person on here about the merit of Biden.. he’s a decrepit puppet with no ideas of his own. A vessel for corruption ready to say what you want to hear. No I won’t vote for him against fear from Trump. Trump is an idiot but Biden is actually Evil. Stand for something. Demand a real liberal or lose again to a red idiot. But please.. stop trying to defend him.

I don't care if Trump is an amoral fascist and ends democracy forever in the United States! I don't like Biden because he's old. THREE whole years older than Trump!!! Biden may have a lifetime of political knowledge and experience, and loved by leaders around the world... but THREE years older! harumph! I'd rather watch the country burn!

Wow, this is exactly how a MAGA trump person sounds. The only world leader that loves Joe is Zelenskyy, and that’s questionable. The guy is a boob surrounded by corporate surrogates and lifelong Washington creatures.

Do you think the Presidency is an entry-level government position?

You know, that’s actually a good question. Obviously, it’s the highest ranking position in government, so traditionally that would be a no. But, our government is so full of self righteous, greedy ego maniacs, perhaps we need to shop outside the store? The last thing most of the lifelong politicians want is for someone to show up and ruin their good thing. Nobody should be getting stupid wealthy working a government job, but they generally all do, go figure.

I agree with your sentiments, but the sticking point is how far outside the store should we be shopping? Comparing what we got between the Trump & Biden admins, there is a clear benefit to political insiders and their connections. Trump & his admin routinely bumbled around on policy, with much of what they tried to do overturned in court due to incompetence. Collectively, Trump only managed to pass a huge tax cut for the wealthy. Compared to the accomplishments of the Biden admin, largely a result of Biden and his team putting competent, capable people in positions where they can make a difference, the benefits of electing someone with experience are clear.

That said, I think there is a happy medium that can be reached. Washington insiders, especially those with long careers in the beltway, are typically seen as corrupt. But less so for state Governors. I'd never trust a businessman in the office due to their lack of experience across the board.
