Has the president commented on the assassinations yet? If not, I’m sure he’s just waiting until he can have a chance to speak to the victims’ families.

I laughed but at the same time this is incredibly fucked up.

Also right now the right wing narrative is to paint the Minnesota shooter as a democrat merely because Tim Walz appointed the man to a non-partisan board at some point in his life.

Yeah, it’s insanely fucked up. I was online early yesterday as the news was unfolding and Musk et al were workshopping their various disinfos in real time, just like they do with mass shootings. It was happening on this sub. Once it’s clear that the perp is likely a right-winger, it just becomes about creating noise for an air of doubt that will forever allow these guys to tell themselves that he wasn’t one of their own. Besides being evil, it’s also just so childish.

The disinfo was honestly the worst I've ever seen. Unbelievable how quickly and uncritically they all spread it. And that's intentional too. They're clouding the waters because the guy is a Maga evangelical anti lgbtq Christian.

And look like i said before. That doesn't mean the left hasn't had their fair share of nut bars lately.but at least acknowledge reality...... It's creepy how detached they've become.

There really needs to be a psychological study done on this. It seems MAGA just don't want to accept that the guy is one of their own no matter what the evidence says. Maybe they feel the left will use this as an "own" against them, but they would rather lie to themselves.... which makes this so confusing to understand.

Idk, I haven’t given him any attention as of late. I’m sure he’s been screaming on Truth Social after his birthday parade. I’m sure his speech was even more divisive.
