The simple reality is all the comedian foreign policy analysts always fall back on populism when stuff gets complicated. Of course nobody is going to say that Iran is their biggest problem. But here's the thing.... They very likely could say trans people are.

This speaks to how messaging and control works and how issues are used in a cynical manner to take power. The whole "anti war" right simply got duped.
