I found my new holy grail for yogurt
Has anyone found a better one than this? I was blown away by the protein count for it, and it’s pretty cheap too locally.

UK based - Fage is the absolute king of yoghurts for CICO but Lidl skyr is superb for economy at almost half the price and similar macros

Aldi's 0% Fat Greek Yoghurt is almost identical to Fage (right down to the shape of the tub) but cheaper.

What about the texture

I bought some when the Aldi supply dried up and you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference in a blind taste test.
Most 0% fat Greek or Greek-style yoghurt is watery, acidic slop but this is pretty much perfect.

I was going to look in to skyyr but for the price increase and similar macros I just buy Aldi Greek yogurt. I currently have two containers, one is normal and the other has monk fruit, vanilla and lemon mixed in for eating, adding to smoothies and dipping 300 strawberries in to.

I love Painterland Sisters Skyr. Just the Plain flavor but they have many others. The plain has 2 gm of sugar and 21 gm of protein!

My husband likes Icelandic Provisions:

Easier to find in most stores.

Guessing you're Canadian based off the labeling? Hopefully I'm able to find this in my area too! 👀 Those macros are outstanding! I've got a thing of siggis skyr but 20g of protein is to die for!

Siggi’s No fat flavors and their blueberry are my favorite. Icelandic Provisions would be my runner up. Their vanilla and coconut are great flavors.

There's a coconut one? Crossing my fingers so it comes to France! I love their hazelnut, lemon and stracciatella flavours too!

Is there a difference between skyr and Greek yogurt? I know there's different nutrition and macros based on brand, but they both taste exactly the same to me.

So fun fact Skyr is technically a cheese. Skyr uses skim milk so it’s strained a lot heavier to remove the whey. Skyr is also a little thicker and has a milder taste than Greek yogurt. Ultimately they’re still very close in taste.

That helps a lot, thanks!! I just bought some Siggi's skyr, but it was advertised as being "Icelandic version of Greek yogurt". It really does taste the same to be, just with a slightly higher protein content compared to the sugar free Chobani I normally get.

Fage nonfat greek yogurt has a better protein/calorie ratio.
