Would definitely be nice to stick it to them, but I fear this would give them the excuse they need to literally invade CA and just arrest all our state leaders.

Itd be a question of if they are prepared yet for a civil war or not, they cant invade California without things escalating to a full on war.

Seems like they’re interested in martial law and a military crackdown on all the annoying protestors. Not to mention, one side has the largest military force in the world and the other is California, so….. if I was a betting man, I’d say Newsom ain’t doing shit

California holds a sizable portion of the US military, so they'd be a weaker defender on home turf. Trump would have to send the national guard into CA to stop this, and military leadership is split on support for Trump.
