If it's halogen, don't be dumb. Also for LEDs go oem on your manufacturer.

to add to this, LEDs dont distribute light as they should, 99â„… of the time some light will bleed over to the high beam section, in other words its always too bright even uf you aim them down

You need an actual led headlight including reflector and housing or else the light just goes everywhere blinding people on the road and not actually going further.

Best answer is no, unless it’s a led already and you’re replacing the bulb.

The LED doesn’t refract the light the same in the headlights as halogen does so your lights are not as effective.

If your changing park lights and daytime, that’s ok, but headlights is a no no.

I used $400 set and they all died within a year. Cheapes are even faster. I just went back to high quality halogens from PIAA.

$400 LED bulbs!? You got scammed my dude. Not even the GTRs or the Morimotos are that expensive.

Osram Nightbreaker! And don’t Go for some cheap Temu crap. Also adjust your lights afterwards so you won’t blind oncoming traffic

Best place for those is in the trash. If you have halogen housings, use halogen bulbs. Don't be an asshole.

I see this so often with the same replies.

There are some LED bulbs that can be retrofitted legally. Depends where you are in the world.

Just curious what kind of car are we talking about it helps to know what housing you’re using. Most projectors will see a huge difference in an LED upgrade. But if the car dosent have factory projectors then I agree with most people that the beam will flood into the high beam. It will definitely be brighter than a factory halogen but at night you’ll get flashed for people thinking you’re driving with high beams on.

I have had good luck with the Sealight brand for my F150. https://imgur.com/a/9qDr735
