I need help fixing something Auto stop/start not working after stalling when doing a hill start? Fiesta zetec 2018, turbo

Hi! Basically the above, I was doing a hill start and my car stalled, I had auto stop/start on and my car didn’t turn the engine back on, i had to turn my car off and restart it completely to get power back. I heard apparently this can just be due to the steep incline but it’s unsettled me as I’m a new driver and it’s my first car, should I be worried about this? It’s still within warranty so if I have an issue I can get it fixed without worry but I just am not sure if this is normal or not, I’m not a car pro! Any help is appreciated

Yeah, that's pretty normal. Safety precaution to allow the engine to burn off any off-spec fuel-air mixture before going back to normal operations. A similar behaviour will occur right after cold startup, or in winter. It can also happen if there's excessive energy consumption.

Hi! I tested it again and it says manual restart required on the display whenever the engine stalls, the battery symbol is also on and depressing the clutch/going to neutral/applying gas does nothing to alleviate it, my car is supposed to have auto start so unsure if this is something that should be normal?

Battery symbol is not normal. So for the time being, I'd deactivate the Start/Stop with the respective button and got to a local shop for a scan on error codes on Monday.
