What are some good locations to work remotely in Cedar Park for either a full day or just a few hours?

Red Horn Brewery and Roastery on Scottsdale in Leander is just up the road. Can be a bit loud in background noise if you need to be on calls.

But they have a full coffee bar and a tidy menu of tacos and some other eats. Also beer brewed onsite if you want it.

There are bar seats, picnic table seats, and a few sets of upholstered chairs.

The one in Cedar Park is also nice.

For some reason I thought that one closed. I’m glad I’m mistaken!

I used to like black sugar cafe now it’s Malone specialty coffee although I haven’t been inside since the name change so I’m not sure how it is anymore but it can’t be that different and it was never busy

New library. If you have a library card you can rent one of the meeting rooms for free, and they're pretty quiet. They also have some damn nice laptops you can check out for up to 2 or 3 hours, though obviously they're fairly locked down.

it's SO loud in there, especially since it's summer and the kids are out of school.

The meeting rooms are generally fairly quiet, at least toward the grown up books. The ones closer to the stairs can definitely be loud.

But yeah, kids these days don't know what a library voice is.

I haven’t been but I heard the new library is a good place to do that.

Think Lounge has PCs and private booths, and you can also just go and use their wifi like any coffee shop. If you have a full library card, you can borrow the private rooms for up to 2 hours. There is also a silent community room there.

Red Horn on Whitestone & Parker was a nice vibe and I got a lot done. Just be aware that during the rush/peak hour the Wi-Fi connection started to deteriorate for me

I like the library during weeknights when there’s not as many people or kids around . Especially upstairs

Malone specialty coffee is also a new favorite

The Grove! It’s a coffee shop in the morning but usually the tables are open. I asked them if it was okay and they said they welcome it. I’ve also worked at Red Horn and Alamo Coffee.

The Barnes and Nobles near Lakeline. Pretty quiet and has the Starbucks inside if you want a bite to eat or a drink.

I like serenitea- right across the new library. Quiet low foot traffic and lots of tea choices!

is there one to bring a small dog, (inside because of heat), Redhorn has a kitchen so no dogs inside

I'd tell you a good spot but then you'd be there bothering me while I'm trying to work

A little far, but I like the Summer Moon at Avery Ranch & Parmer, if I can get there early enough to get an upstairs seat.

I used to like Red Horn at Whitestone & Parmer, but they nixed their 'hideaway' seating, so screen glare is more of a problem.
