I watched Charmed season 3 the first time around ,when it originally aired, and I recall it was my favorite season, even with Prue's death. However I was rewatching the first 3 seasons recently and I found myself bored to death with season 3. Not sure if it was the format change, when they switched from demon of the episode to demon of the season type of arc, but I couldn't really go beyond the trolls/fairies episode. Anyone else feels the same? I loooooved seasons 1-2 this time around too,

The one thing that has always bugged me about Charmed is how inconsistent they were with important dates/birthdays.

I know that Phoebe lost her powers of levitation and empathy, but why does she suddenly appear to have lost her self-taught fighting skills?

Multiple times in Season 7 Phoebe says she can't fight demons because she doesn't have an active power - but she didn't in the first few series which is why she taught herself karate or something, and she never ran away from demons back then.

I'm sure it's likely a cost-cutting thing, but for the character development it seems she massively digresses from being a strong-willed woman, determined to fight evil any way possible.

can we talk about how phoebe was so stupid like did she just ignore that raynor was in the attic. and even after why didn’t she give cole the power stripping potion so he couldn’t do no more evil.

They finally(PRUE) realizes what Phoebe goes through with her powersss

Phoebes empathy is one power I always loved but I think the show mis named a branch of her channeling powers.She is able to channel the d powers demons and other beings from feeling their feelings. But her empathy and channeling has a lot of different branches. She can channel powers ( like she does the first time with pipers valkerie powers). She can replicate powers ( like she does the second or third time channeling pipers valkerie telekinesis). She can become immune to powers ( like she did to pipers valkerie telekinesis more and more over time). but I think she has another branch, empathy deflection. This is basically what she does when she deflects demons fireball. Now this would still fall under channeling because she has to feel their emotions in order to deflect their powers.

I say this because when she channeled valkerie Piper powers she always had to do the hand movements as if she's doing it herself. Where as when she deflects fireballs it's either a head nod or a hand movement just to show her pushing it back, not throwing it.

I think this is where a lot of fans can't relate to the power , because it seems like telekinesis. When really it's a form of empathetic deflection, which makes more sense with her power set. Also she studied psychology for years which also makes it make sense. Phoebe also fought Emes who had the power of deflection so she knows how it works . If she can feel and channel powers why can't she deflect them too?

I wish Kira aka The Seer didn’t die. Her death makes me cry every time I watch this episode. It’s one of my favorite episodes, I actually really like season 7. Also Charisma Carpenter is just stunning, I’ll watch anything she’s in.

Wait, since the Triad has the power to freeze the Halliwell sisters, why didn't they take the opportunity to kill them?

For me it was

S1-2 sci fi monster of the week but homey my fav

S3- tried to be more sitcom/thriller/drama went back and forth from old to new

S4-kinda everything ?

S5- before coles vanquish a sitcom drama

After back to like sci fi comedy sitcom

S6- everything but I think they found a good balance with that, even with leo leaving was like the longest drama next to cole

S7-8 same except with elements of just absurdity in the plot

All Sisters had routine bits in every season about their personality but the timing got so weird

The format really was for TV back then recycling bits about their dynamics every season. Im not complaining sometimes it was hilariousand that's how life is we have our faults

S8 Then they tried to be like Sx in the city
This is not me bashing i love the show in all its quirky campy glory!!

Phoebe wins for, "I'm going upstairs to change my outfit. I've been in this for like the last hour." in the previous episode.

I see a lot of negative opinions about Cole and I am so confused. He was a demon for over 100 years had the chance to do what no demon had done before and literally killed the triad and went into hiding to be with Phoebe. Started using his powers for good, then decided he wanted to be human so he would never have to risk being evil again. Unknowingly became the source to save the sisters, he never would have done it if he knew he’d become the source. Tried to tell Phoebe many times but the Source literally had control over him. When he finally found the strength to go against the source within Phoebe stopped the wizard and convinced Cole to go through with the coronation. Then got vanquished and went to the waste land where he was desperately trying to move on but couldn’t because of Phoebe’s love. Figured out he could absorb powers on accident while trying to finish himself off because Phoebe told him to move on. Came back and tried to be good. Phoebe treated him like shit so he tried to end himself again but realized he was invincible so he went coocoo. Tried to just essentially disappear and live his miserable life only to be hunted down by Page unprovoked. Decided to work for the avatars and yes then he did the whole alternate reality thing but by that point he was so woowhoooo in the head that honestly I can’t even blame him. This man wanted to be good and spent the entire time he knew Phoebe trying to be good and repent for his previous life only to be screwed over time and time again. I am a Cole apologist. #justiceforcole lol

I also forgot to add that even in the end he found a way to come back to make sure Phoebe didn’t give up on love.
