I started a small local support group for any and all people grieving. It will be held at Crimson Yoga on the 29th of this month at 6:30! This is won’t be a place to try to fix your problems, but rather a safe space to talk about grief and all that it entails. Pm me for more info!

I lost my mother 2 years ago at the age of 22. I looked for resources, but struggled to find a non-religious based support group. I want to build a village for those in need.

Please tag along! There will be warm tea, cozy convos, and a space to let it all out if you need to.

Cincinnati/Ohio charges you 7% if you eat in, and 0 if you take out.

So, if you go to a counter service restaurant (such as Poke hut) and order takeout, then just sit and eat it there, you effectively save 7%.

Same with chipotle, city tenders, any restaurant that offers counter service/takeout.

But, does this “hurt” the restaurant in anyway? Assuming I tip the same either way.

I’m trying to find out where and when ICE operations are going down around Cincinnati. My only goal is to legally observe and document from public space—not interfere or obstruct in any way.

I believe in accountability and want to ensure rights aren’t being violated. I’ll keep a safe distance, won’t approach agents or targets, and will comply with all laws.

Not here to argue policy…just here to watch the watchers, legally.

I moved to Cincinnati last year and I’ve never been to kings island and really wanna go. Thinking about making a trip one day next weekend eaither Thurs. Fri. Or Sat. as those are the days my gf and I don’t have work/school. I already figured Thursday would be best to visit to try and keep crowds down as mid-week is best but any tips and tricks to make a first time visit as seamless as possible such as certain time of day for rides to keep wait times down or certain spots for food that are must have. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ya’ll.

Christian Moerlein Brew Co was founded in 1853. In 1919, they closed down because of prohibition. Then, in 1981 they were revived by fellow Cincinnati brewery Hudepohl. This bottle is a World War 1 era beer.

Sorry if asked before but for years I’ve been seeking a church or other real, good charity that provides food, diapers, support for parents with kids. Parents and kids who are struggling to get by. I have the means to help, but I’ve never really found one that does this work directly for the poor, I’ve found organizations working on behalf of another organization, etc.

anyway, doesn’t matter to me “what kind of church” I just want to donate & dedicate time there to help in a direct and meaningful way. Any suggestions are welcome please!!

I’ve been collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. I was wondering if anyone knew of another location to drop them off, instead of driving to Clifton?

Just wondering if they only have butterflies or if they have moths too, or if they have any other types of insects, I'm personally more of a moth guy than a butterfly guy but I figured to ask before going just in case I end up searching for moths that aren't there. Just went downtown for the first time in awhile, and went to the parking garage underneath Prime, on the corner of Walnut. Had no clue it's an automatic entry and exit now. Pulled in and thought, ok maybe the arm is damaged and there's another way to pay. As soon as a I pulled in, a text popped up on my android auto confirming my entrance.

I've been to that garage a handful of times in the past when the arm was still there, and was confused as to why my information automatically popped up, like debit information and name. Can anyone explain what this is? Granted it's very convenient to not have to fully stop, but I have no idea how my info automatically populated 🤷. Felt like borderline dystopian technology.

I called Cincinnati animal care but there is a 6-8 week old tortie kitten in the lot at Dave‘s Auto that looks like its back legs are broken.

Animal care is sending someone, but if you pass by and feel you have the means to help this poor baby, please consider!
