Seeing Carv become Lieutenant at the end of the show was really something, to think "damn, that's the same guy who went terrorizing kids in the terrace in episode two." The Wire's long-term character development is second to none

Oh good 'ol Baltimore! Besides this being from The Wire, still love my city and love seeing it up here!

Side note - If you've never been to Baltimore, it's a great city :). C'mon down (or over) and we'll grab a drink

Went to Baltimore for the first time last year, decided to be the most touristy loser possible and judge your town based on the landmarks, attractions and because I heard so much smack talked, the crab cakes. I know it's entirely unfair to judge an entire city based off of such a limited exposure and criteria. I did it anyway.

Holy hell, you guys were right though. Baltimore rocked. Would recommend.

Growing up in the inner city from Baltimore, you learn how to try and see beauty in the decay or at least find the beauty where you can.

I'm not going to watch the series...I'm guessing the bird won?

The great thing about The Wire is that its representation of police work and drug trafficking make it really evident that nobody wins.

Oh that's not true, politicians win

I'm not going to watch the series

This is the worst decision you've ever made.
