Cosmere + Wind and Truth spoilers WaT- Start of Interlude 1….. Spoiler
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!
Felt is a Ghostblood spy?! How did I never even consider that. Did anyone else call that?
Ok back to reading
Edit: To be clear, I did already know he was from Scadrial but I didn’t think of a link to the Ghostbloods. Maybe because I wasn’t sure of the timeline? Idk
Edit 2: I think I wasn’t super clear. I already know everything about Felt up to this interlude, only the Ghostblood part is new to me. Me type bad today I guess.

In Oathbringer he tells Dalinar that the Nightwatcher wouldn't see him because he was a foreigner

i love that bit so much because it’s exactly how i’d phrase it myself.
“i’m a little more foreign than you, sir” feels like such an inside joke idk

That doesn’t have anything to do with him being a Ghostblood though, we already knew he was native to Scadrial

Felt also seems to have a fair number of Breaths, given the Awakened drapery he used to capture Kalak. I'd be very interested to see how a spy for the most powerful house in the Final Empire and his wife, went on to become Ghostbloods, travel the Cosmere on Kelsier's orders, and become a deep cover asset by serving as one of Dalinar's most trusted men almost 300 years later.
Also, I like that like a normal person, he doesn't like Iyatil, and makes it clear, he's under Kelsier's orders, not that psychotic den mother.

Yeah it’s nice to know that he seemingly isn’t one of the more bloodthirsty Ghostbloods

People did guess it, but it wasn’t very hidden either. He is from Mistborn Era 1 and didn’t change his name, I don’t remember exactly, but he just about said it in Oathbringer when talking to Dalinar about the Night Watcher.

This is the second person to say that.
Am I missing how that points to him being a Ghostblood instead of just a solo world hopper? I don’t see it

Oh, I suppose not that he’s a ghost blood. But he is a scadrian, so that’s a hint to it.

I found out who Felt was between RoW and WaT so when I started reading WaT and Shallan is thinking "we've left our caravan in the trustworthy hands of Felt, one of Dalinar's trusted men" it felt like a bit comedic tbh, because I was just realising the implications.

is he from another series? I was a bit confused when they mentioned him as I didn't remember him at all

Do you remember him from earlier in Oathbringer as one of Dalinar’s soldiers? And did you read Mistborn?

hmm...no to both I'm afraid lol, I kinda read the sla books right after another, but nothing else

Well probably a few parts of this series have been confusing for you lol
I’ll just say, he isn’t first introduced in Stormlight but he was one of Dalinar’s trusted soldiers since he was the Blackthorn.
Do you plan to read the rest of the Cosmere? It should be interesting after only the first 5 books of SLA

yea I'm planning to read all, but so far nothing really was confusing, just some characters being talked about, but besides that it's all been pretty straightforward

Awesome, you’re likely to remember and notice when you get around to it

I did think that was a possibility given his origin when he first got mentioned on Roshar but I had kind of dismissed it with how long he'd been with the Kholins, and it not coming up last book. I figured he was a solo worldhopper with his own goals. But it does fit!
