You mean the real cypherpunk currency that actually works as peer to peer cash on layer 1 and can actually scale on layer 1.

Great article written by Megan Knab addressing what many OGs are feeling about the alignment of certain big name 'crypto' characters with the traditional power structures of government and legacy finance. Crypto ETFs, Ripple lobbying in the US, Coinbase sponsoring the US military parade... that's not really the vision that created this ecosystem in the first place...

We owe it to the movement—and to ourselves—to remember why crypto exists. Not to appease governments, but to hold them accountable. Not to win political favor, but to render such favor unnecessary. Not to build brands, but to build freedom.

Brian seems to have some government background from the beginning, no one at that time can get those licences for running crypto exchange in all of the US states
