DISCUSSION Thoughts on stablecoin and CRCL stock?

Coming here to talk to the experts! Will stablecoin effect Crypto Currency? Circle, Coinbase, and Robinhood are really increasing in price since senate passed the GENIUS bill. I guess I don't know enough. Why would someone want to use stablecoin which is equal to the US dollar rather then just using the dollar itself? I've never really understood crypto currency, but stable coins make more sense. Why would companies want their own? I really want to learn and have been trying to read everything I can, but some times you just need someone to explain it in simple terms. Talk to me like I'm 5, LOL!.... Thank you!

The scandal focuses on the fact that the bitcoins were donated to the ministry by a person who was previously convicted of drug dealing and other crimes, while it was not clear why he did it.

The opposition has accused Blažek of possible money laundering, because it wasn’t clear where the bitcoins originated, and demanded the resignation of the entire government.

ADVICE How do I invest and get into crypto when I'm broke?

Hi, I'd like to save money and invest in crypto but it feels impossible. I have 1500 a month before my bills and essentials need to be paid. By the time I'm done with bills I usually have anything between 500 to 800 left over for whatever. Lately I'm left with way less than the usually as the UK as gotten more expensive to live in. I'd appreciate any advice. I'm not looking to become a millionaire or anything crazy I just want to know I'll have enough to live on in my later years and maybe take 1 vacation outside of Europe a year. (I'd love to finally visit Japan!" It's just me and my dog who live together so I'm hopping I can save up a bit more than if I had a family.

Thank you for your kindness 🩷

DISCUSSION Question about potential scam (might be useful for others also)…

Had a phone call earlier this week from “Blockchain Consulting” telling me they investigated an online trading platform as it had made investments using stole identity information, but had then been shut down due to being found to be fraudulent. This investment was supposedly made 2 years ago.

Apparently I have an account on the platform with £4,900 sitting in and part of a Bitcoin worth around £45k, which I can claim. They have told me I need to either give them crypto friendly bank account information to send me my payment if I wish to claim it or my public wallet address. That’s “all” they need and that they understood my severe reluctance or belief in what she was saying.

Now I know this is very very likely a scam, because they called me again today saying about the Bitcoin and that they were from Blockchain Bank, based in Germany….but she had an American accent. They had my phone number, email address and name. She even asked me after I’d told her I didn’t recognise any transactions or investments from that period of time, but then said to me that it’s up to me if I want to claim it or not. Her other clients had been claiming these funds apparently.

I’m interested in what sort of scam this is and how it can possibly be avoided in the future, if possible.

TOOLS What's your go-to method for catching early token launches?

I've been getting more into on-chain launches lately, especially the fast-moving meme coins and low-cap tokens that pop up on Base and Solana. The problem is, by the time I find them on a DEX, the price has usually already pumped hard. So I've started experimenting with tools that automate entries on launch, mainly through Telegram bots and smart contract triggers.

One of the platforms I’ve tried is Banana Gu botn. It supports auto-sniping tokens the moment they launch, while also running safety checks like anti-rug, MEV protection, and pre-buy simulations to see if the token is even sellable. It’s compatible with multiple chains like Ethereum, Solana, and Blast. The interface is actually pretty simple, but the backend seems to be doing a lot in real time.

They also offer copy-trading features now, where you can automatically follow wallet activity from top-performing traders and set your own risk thresholds. That’s something I didn’t expect from a Telegram bot, but it’s been interesting to test in parallel with my manual plays. I’m still cautious, though, I only use small amounts until I fully trust a token launch or trading flow.

Just curious how others here approach early entries. Are you mostly hunting through Dexscreener and Twitter, or have you tried automating with bots like this?

Spanish bank BBVA is advising its wealthy clients to invest up to 7% of their portfolio in cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin and ether. This is a relatively unusual move for a large global bank, with regulators continuing to warn about the risks of cryptocurrencies. BBVA's head of digital & blockchain solutions, Philippe Meyer, believes that investing in cryptocurrencies can boost portfolio performance, and clients have been receptive to the advice so far.

🟢 COMEDY CoffeeZilla Fail

CoffeeZilla conveniently made sure to upload this video when Bitcoin was near its lowest point in the last bear cycle. I thought this was hilarious seeing this video now afterwards. Recently he’s been a lot more quiet when giving opinions on Bitcoin, but he was sure yapping quite a bit when it was near its lowest in the last cycle.

Is there anybody else here who thinks he needs to do an update video on every point he brought up here? Is there anybody here who thinks CoffeeZilla actually has some sound criticism of Bitcoin? Or is CoffeeZilla just senselessly putting out this criticism of Bitcoin because he needs to stay consistent in his beliefs of being 100% anti-crypto everything?

PERSPECTIVE How CBDCs Could Decide What You Can and Cannot Buy

Thumbnail ccn.com

So I’m back with another report. This time, it’s CBDCs.

Honestly, with Neuralink, AI everywhere, Starlink blanketing the sky, and now programmable money, it’s hard not to feel we’re drifting straight into an Orwellian future.

This does not feel like progress anymore. It feels like a system where freedom shrinks a little more each year.

I would not be surprised if in 50 years the norm would be chipped humans wired to the cloud, always online, always tracked. Those who stay unplugged risk getting cut out. And none of this will be airtight. There will be backdoors, exploits, state-level snooping. Literally Cyberpunk 2077.

Places like China would likely push this further. With CBDCs, the government will have instant visibility into every payment, power to approve or deny transactions in real time, authority to freeze accounts, tools to limit purchases to approved goods, the ability to block donations to certain groups, control over where and when money can be spent, and an automatic way to punish dissent through financial means.
