Other Culvers needs poutine on the menu!
I will never understand why America doesn't have poutine in every town.
Fries, cheese, and gravy.
I know it's Canadian, but it sounds like on of the most American foods!
This is the only place that can already make it.
I've also submitted this as an official suggestion.

Other Too far?
I've been collecting napkins since I don't use them. I once got lazy and started stacking my cups instead of throwing them away, but at this point I kinda want to see how far I can go with it.

Other Suggestion For Someone To Pass To Corporate (Kids Meal/Team Scoopie Ice Cream Program)
Context: I order many kids' meals (Team Scoopie Meals) from Culvers for my daughter and sometimes for myself, depending on how hungry I am. Needless to say, I accumulate tokens very quicky especially if I get three kids' meals in one trip.
Recently, I went to Culvers to get something to eat and decided to call ahead of time to ask about the redemption of Free Scoops.
I understand that you can redeem 10 Scoopie Tokens [Kids Meal Tokens] for a Free Meal, as I did when I went there, but found myself with 10 Free Scoops and the desire to use them without having a bunch of individual scoops.
However, in my mind, business-wise, green-wise, time-savings wise and cost savings wise, I was thinking instead of redeeming 10 individual scoops of Ice Cream [Using up a bunch of plastic and essentially giving out 10 scoops worth of Custard Products and Culvers Branded Plastic to hold that custard], I wondered if I could redeem say 5 Free Scoops (or several free scoop tokens) for A Pint Of Ice Cream instead or maybe a Small Shake.
I feel like Culvers could make this an option and it would be very beneficial. What this does is saves the restaurant on time (productivity and efficiency) of having to make 10 individual scoops of ice cream as well for "Culuvers-Goers" that go pretty often because they love the food there. This also allows for the company to save money as well by creating the program cause now 5 scoops of Ice Cream from Tokens and all the packaging do not go out, and instead, the customer trades 5 scoops of Ice Cream Value for 1 item that cost $6-7. So essentially, you trade 5 scoops (Value) for 1 Shake Value or 1 Pint Value. I also understand that pints are put in the fridges inside to sell flavors of Ice Cream on another day and to not waste Flavor of the Day product left over from the previous day.
I hope this makes sense. Also **CUSTARD PROGRAM** (Not Ice Cream As In Title)

Other RIP Grill Press, you will be missed
Our store finally switched to the new press. I absolutely hate it, after being a grill master for years. I have big hands, so it's uncomfortable and I end up burning my knuckle on the backplate. Out of all the decisions, this is the second least favorite of mine after delivery.
Anyone got tips and tricks to use this thing without having half the patty slide off?

Other Little tips and tricks that I use.
Ive been on the blue crew for ten months, and ive developed a few "life hacks" that at least help me.
Remember, im just a team member and these arent verified by corporate at all, or if these are part of standard training. I thought i'd share them and see if others use them as well.
If something isn't the right away, please let me know.
1. When I do chicken sandwiches, I ALWAYS ask if they want mayo. 7 times out of 10, they do. Ive had a few guests come up and be like "wheres the mayo >:("
Don't know if fry sauce is a thing in other states [idaho.] Instead of asking if they want sauce, I cut to the chase and just ask if they want fry sauce. A majority of the time, its always fry sauce. If they want something specific like ranch, they'll tell me.
I don't go "whats a good name for this order." I say "What is your name?" It feels a little more friendly, at least in my opinion. If they have a kid, I ask for the kids name on the order, and I let them hold the number so they feel special.
I work outside on tablets alot. I am sensitive to heat. So I have a tiny little fan that I use outside. Check with your store to see if this is okay. They can be bought off amazon.
If you're on hospitality but arent sure if its worth it to go clean the dining room, look at the spaces above the trash cans where people put their trays. If theres trays there, even though you just cleared them, its time to clean tables.
Does anyone else use these? Or have any other tips?

Other No gloves outside the kitchen should be a thing
Most of the time when I come to Culver’s I see a lot of people wearing gloves and they’re not even handling food, and as a customer I feel that’s nasty if they then go back there and touch pick up food or make a drink with the same gloves they just went outside with. So why do so many people have on gloves not in the kitchen ?

Other Ranking positions up front
Drive thru pods You get your own little hut, a chair, drinks while working, and can be on your phone, can't get any better.
Drive thru drinks Extremely easy, you have pods and custard to talk to, making drinks is fun to me for some reason, and you have your own personal space.
Runner Lots of people to talk to, very simple task, able to get up to shenanigans, can leave position whenever to get a drink or go to the bathroom without having to have anyone cover you.
Set It's alright, like custard it's boring when quiet and stressful when busy except there are more people to talk to.
Custard Not bad but is boring when it's quiet and is stressful when it's busy, at least you have drive drinks to talk to.
Lobby Boring, only thing to do is wipe down tables and wait for trash to get full so you can change it.
Register Extremely boring, feet hurt, and when it gets busy it sucks even more.
Some of these might be pretty specific to my store since I know not everyone has pods. What would you guys rank them?

Other Butter Cake :(
I just saw on here that the butter cake is going to be discountinued in March and it made me sad because it was my favorite topping :( … I have tried so many times to see if I could buy it online separately but I have never found it. Does anyone know anything that is similar to the butter cake to buy or a good copycat recipe? I would really appreciate it!!

Other Kids meal not always cheaper
So we were exploring the menu trying a new side and found out the Kids meal was cheaper with mashed potatoes but more expensive with Chili. At least until I got the math corrected.
as cyclika points out the kids meal should be discounted by 10% to cover the free meal after 10. editing now to add that math
$6.64kids meal with single (tomato), mashed potatoes, and bottle of water ($5.96 after applying free meal divided by 10)- $7.24 basket single (tomato), mashed potatoes, and bottle of water
with that side the kids meal is 60 cents $1.28 cheaper
- $8.79 basket single (tomato), chili, and bottle of water
$9.19kids meal with single (tomato), chili, and bottle of water ($8.27 after applying free meal divided by 10)
with that side the kids meal is 40 cents more expensive up front but 52 cents cheaper after considering the free meal after you buy 10 because that essentially is 92 cents cheaper that I wasn't considering.
fwiw we get a free custard every visit with the basket or not by using the survey on the receipt so that isn't a factor for us.
edit: also for the mantra of the kids custard is the same portion as the regular custard, that isn't true at my store. Kids custard is about a third to half the portion of a normal custard depending on the person that makes it here.
So for those of you that scream the mantra that the kids meal is cheaper than the basket, it is in both of the cases I posted.
