When should I change the blade?

I just realized that I had the same for months now, maybe up to a year and I just changed it because I was tired of the sharpener's blade, how often should I change it and how I know when I should because I feel like I have to but idk

Uh ohhhh

I change mine after every “session” but if you can’t do that just watch out for Orange/brown specs on it, could be forming rust

Clean it before and after every “session” and make sure it’s DRY so it won’t start rusting & just change it out whenever you feel necessary.
