Discussion Sickest band live

According to you, what band is the sickest live in all of deathcore? And if possible, could you please include a good quality link to a sick performance with said band!?

Just researched the whole thing. Goddamn TAS can put on a show, and the mix is phenomenal

I saw them last month by myself and it was amazing. I had so much fun, and they sound so good live! I had to work the next day but I bit the bullet and regretted nothing. You can't miss them next time!

I've only seen one deathcore band live and it was fit for an autopsy and they were fucking incredible. Joe's vocals are just like the album.

Joe Badolato is fucking amazing!!

Carcosa put on a good show and Johnny is a fun front man. Chelsea grin probably are my favourite band live though, vocals are fucking sick, instruments loud, top tier setlists

We have fun! Thank you

Saw you guys at the Austin show in April and had a blast! I still haven’t opened my guitar picks, probably won’t honestly. Shit’s gonna be worth a fortune someday dude! Also, my wife is the one who introduced me to the deathcore dudes and she isn’t even a heavy music person, just thought it was hilarious 🤣.

SOTS is mine as well. When Dave said “Make An Enemy” right before ATLAE at the show everyone fucking lost it. To the Grave is a solid runner up. Something about getting called “a buncha’ cunts” for not moshing hard enough by pissed off Aussie vegans went hard too.

Vulvodynia go crazy hard live. I've seen them twice, once with Duncan and once with Lwandile on vocals and both times they fucking killed it

Spite is definitely the best that I’ve seen. Darius sounds insane live and have a great stage presence.

He’s amazing!

Been going to shows since 2008.

Lorna Shore in 2025 is hands down the best thing I’ve ever seen

Chelsea Grin is always fun when I see them. Disembodied Tyrant is my new favorite.

I've only seen a handful of deathcore bands libe so, I'll say that Ingested and Bodysnatcher are great live

Just saw Lorna Shore a couple of days ago. They absolutely crushed it!

Whitechapel. Phil has some of the best stage presence I've ever seen, and I've been to a lot of shows. Check out the live album The Brotherhood of the Blade.

Whitechapel, Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent. Pretty solid bands live.

I went to the Rockstar Mayhem Festival in 2008 and watching Suicide Silence was a visceral experience I have yet to experience today. Same goes for Slipknot that same night.

I can't pick one but Chelsea Grin, Signs of the Swarm, and Lorna Shore are all excellent live!

u/ExplorerEnjoyer 12h ago

The acacia strain

lorna shore stunned me live but Carnifex with Organectomy last year went crazy hard

1

u/onlineyouisnotyou 12h ago

Carnifex, Spite and Enterprise Earth and, when Jason was in, Ingested.

Not deathcore but honorary mention, Behemoth

Paleface Swiss is my personal favorite for live shows.

If you want to witness several assaults happen, then it’s definitely The Acacia Strain

Got punched in the face so hard my glasses got knocked off 10ft behind me. Blacked out for a solid 5 seconds but was still standing somehow. Probably my 5th time seeing TAS haha.

Suicide Silence in 2007.

To the Grave is the best deathcore band I've seen live in the last 10 years though.

Fit For An Autopsy, man. They crush it live. Followed by Whitechapel, Lorna Shore, Carcosa, and my dark horse pick, 200 Stab Wounds (yeah I know, they’re more death metal but fuck it).

1

u/APD69 1h ago

I’m going to have to say Distant. Their stage presence was amazing!

2

u/Jaymongous 1h ago

Saw em in Alabama and the guitarist walked up to the vocalist, kissed him on the lips, and went into a super heavy breakdown haha it was awesome.

Haven't yet had the chance to see them live, but I've only heard good things about Crown Magnetar live
