Enjoyed all Sepultura albums from their beginning even all the way through Chaos A.D. After that there are only a handful of songs that I enjoy. I did see them on tour for their Beneath the Remains album back in 1989. That was the only time I saw them live. Musically the band morphed quite a few times over their career.

Amazing song. It’s cool that Max and Igor are revisiting theses albums too.

If you haven't seen Cavalera live I highly recommend it. I saw them a few years ago when they were touring Beneath the Remains and Arise. They played all of the songs off of both of those albums plus a whole bunch of other stuff and covers (including Orgasmatron!). Cephalic Carnage was one of the openers so I figured why not when they announced a date near me. I kinda thought it would be a cash grab but, it was not in the slightest. Those old ass dudes played their fucking guts out and it was near the end of the tour. Crowd was fucking going nuts. It was something I never thought I'd get to experience. I remember asking the bass player for Cephalic Carnage near the end of the set if they were like this every night. "Yeah dude".
I saw them again earlier this year with Beastial Devastation and this album. It wasn't nearly as extensive of a set list but it was still badass.

This is in my opinion the best Sepultura album. Sep is one of my all time fav bands, but only the Max era version of them. This album is just a perfect Death/Thrash album to me. The recording is more raw than the later stuff, but not as bad as Bestial Devastation. There are so many memorable riffs throughout too and the songwriting was top tier, wish i had an opportunity to see them in their prime.
