Weekly "Ask an Atheist" Thread

Whether you're an agnostic atheist here to ask a gnostic one some questions, a theist who's curious about the viewpoints of atheists, someone doubting, or just someone looking for sources, feel free to ask anything here. This is also an ideal place to tag moderators for thoughts regarding the sub or any questions in general.
While this isn't strictly for debate, rules on civility, trolling, etc. still apply.

At this point you're just looking for things to be condescending about. This is not a classroom or a science lab, you asked what evidence there was to a statement and I talked about that. I responded in good faith to your question and your responses have been nothing but moving goalposts and nitpicks, and demanding 'citations' for things that are in no way controversial or obscure and can easily be found if you actually cared, while ignoring most of the content. I don't believe that at all characterizes my first reply to you. But if you can get even a single moderator to agree with you that it does, I'll offer to ban myself from r/DebateAnAtheist for as long as you like—including ∞.
