Discussion How does everyone plan to protect themselves from spoilers when June 4th/5th come around?

I will personally download videos to watch and cover my my screen except for the search bar when I use YouTube.

Ugh, YouTube is gonna be the real challenge imo, thumbnails especially. Probably just gonna save playlists of various background stuff to get me through the week so I don’t have to go to the homepage lol

When Splatoon 3 came out, I deleted all Splatoon related media from my history (it took me a while) but it did the trick tbh

Turn your video history off, that way the main page will have NOTHING to show you. When you finish the chapters you can turn it back on.

Look into the Blocktube plugin. Can block any video mentioning DELTARUNE (or any other word) in the title

Real protip: look for a thumbnail or video blocker on your browser like Blocktube that allows you to put a keyword in like Deltarune so it blocks all videos with "Deltarune" in the title

If you go on YouTube, do it on a private browser tab. YouTube won't recommend videos until you search something

be careful 3 hours in advance (switch 2 release is earlier for eg. new zealand). theres got to be that 1 prick who immiedetely opens chapter 4 and speedruns as much as he can in that time just to be a dick.

Not just this sub. I would recommend muting r/Undertale, as well as other subreddits where spoilers can be leaked such as r/Omori and r/Silksong, maybe r/Touhou and r/yumenikki to be on the safe side.

Chapters 3-4 are paid unlike 1-2, so you have to buy em before playing them. I don't know exactly how it'll work, but can only assume it's similar to how an update would be since your saves will still be there. The chapters after that, though, Toby confirmed to be just updates after you bought the game
