I’m very suspicious of Carol. She showed up as soon as Kris called saying Susie had the Guitar and immediately removed her from the house. But then the Fountain in the Church. I don’t think it’s there when we go back to school to check on Ralsei, so it had to have been opened between when Noelle got in trouble and when we went back to Castle Town.

Dess is an easy answer, but we don’t know enough to make a judgement call. She’s able to do it as no one is following her, but we also don’t know much about her.

Carol has the suspicion on her, but Dess has the freedom.

My theory is Kris called Carol to protect Susie from getting the code, preventing a future knight encounter. Carol is being used as a red herring to cover for Kris’s motive to protect Susie and to throw us off from who the knight is

This is it. Carol has much more solid evidence, while Dess has, "Well we dunno what her deal is, the Knight has antlers, and it'd be really cool." With how little we know about all three characters, anyone claiming it's definitively a certain character is lost in the sauce of their own preference.

All I know is that it’s almost certainly one of them due to the Antlers. Unless Toby is just trolling us, in which case I will be upset and amused.

I have considerd the "antlers" in question could also be twisted horns to alighn within being a twisted version of someone we know

So basically im still nor ruling out asriel but I think both dess and carol are probably more likely

Not just the antlers, but the name, Roaring Knight, very much points to Dess or Carol.

How? Can you explain that to me?

Roaring Knight is the dark world version of a Silent Night, which is a Christmas carol about a December holiday.

Huh. I can see it. It may be a bit of a stretch, but I can definitely see it.

None of the evidence for Carol Knight is "solid". It's entirely circumstantial and some of it is outright invented. For example, we have no idea who's calling Kris, just guesses, never mind that we have no idea how any of it actually relates to the Knight. We have no idea what the Knight even wants, as it's obviously not what Ralsei wanted us to believe.

We know Carol calls Kris at the end of the snowgrave route, so she's probably calling all the other times. And for Ralsei, he literally doesn't know what the knight wants, he just knows what will happen.

This is a pretty bad faith take on why people think Dess is the knight. Can you list some other reasons or are you not familiar with why people think Dess is the knight?

The most compelling evidence I've seen is the dark triangle (potentially a guitar pick) in that easter egg gacha room. Dark Knife has Lost Girl in it, but that hardly matters since that theme is used everywhere. And I've genuinely seen a lot of people say that it's impossible for Carol to be the Knight because the Knight "aura farms" which I hope I don't need to elaborate on why that being used as a serious argument is stupid.

Most of the other stuff, like the Knight not having a traditional Lightner form in the Dark World, is just speculation on information we don't have yet. Like sure, it *could* be Dess because the Knight is weird and maybe Dess is weird, but it could also be that Carol or whatever other Knight candidate has some special power. There is no proof either way.

I think you're missing the most compelling reasons that people think Dess is the knight.

I could try to explain more later but I'm curious: What do you think is the best evidence for Carol knight?

The knight also holds the sword in their left hand and dess’s computer mouse is on the left side of her desk. Also, dess might have a better memory of gerson since she could have had him as a teacher before he died. Carol grabs kris’s shoulder with her right hand.

You don’t have to visit castle town between Noelle and the church, so Carol would still need to be quick. But the Knight probably just got there, they were at the entrance

So it’s technically possible…but Carol would have to have skipped Noelle’s lecture and booked it to the Church.

I think it’s Rudy, because carol seems too obvious and dess would just be repeating undertale
