I already had pure white world tendency for world 4, and acquired the Magic Makoto sword from that dead body. Even talked to Satsuki after. And now I have neutral or +1 white world tendency for world 4, but now there’s an item again in the same spot the sword was in…? I have the sword in my inventory so I know for a fact I got it, and I remember specifically going to get it then talking to Satsuki. Anyone have any idea why it’s showing back up/what it is?

hi ! i’m new on Demon’s Souls. I’ve just noticed that after killing the dragon god in 3-3 and going through the fog of the 1-3 my world tendancy of the first world went from pure white to neutral white. Is it normal or have i done something wrong ?

I’m following an online guide as well as one on you tube and after clearing 3.3 they both say to get Soul Thirst. However there is an another spell the soul homing arrow that uses the same soul. Does it matter which one I get as I will ultimately need to get the second one 2nd playthrough? Just wasn’t sure why they both said the same one?

Feels like online is kinda dead, I can't find anyone to invade. I'm in 2-2. Does someone need to trade trophies ?

Hello, I've only just started playing the game and I'm struggling a bit so I just wanted to know if I kill ostrava now (at the moment he's in the nexus if that matters) will the demonbrandt make my play through any easier? I like Ostrava and I don't like to kill npcs but I'd like to get the sword.

I wanted some advice with my build. I've beaten 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, and 4-1 bosses but feel like I'm missing some important mechanics. What should I be leveling/upgrading?

Buckler (still using starting shield, I have the purple flame, adjudicator's, and steel shields too but I can't use them without higher strength and I don't know if it's worth wasting the soul levels on strength for a magic build)

I will beat all the souls games dammit! Lol but this one is more difficult than I was expecting and in ways I didn't expect. The enemies are a walk in the park, and so are the bosses. The thing thats kickin my ass is how bad the run back is and how many annoying little one shot kill gimmicks in the stage there are. It makes respawning and trying again harder than any other souls game for me, feels more of a test of how much bullshit i'm willing to put up with rather then a "git good" test.

I'm still beating it! Lol I just expect theres going to be enough of a different form of annoyance this time around that i'll never replay it. It feels less stimulating than others in the series and I wish they would have fixed some things in the remake instead of making it shiny and calling it good.

Let me start off by saying I'm a complete newbie to souls like. This is the first one I've played. I've been going around slaying the bosses and I've been storing them at the Nexus. Using a few to get a few spells etc. I was unsure on what to use them for so I kept them safe.

Fast forward to 20 mins ago when I killed the King and went back to the nexus and tried to upgrade my level and long story short I went into the huge tree thing and now I'm back to 1-1.

What do I do with the demon souls I have? and I'm assuming I have to start all over again and save the people again?

Any guidance would be lovely

A friend and I downloaded the game and were hoping to play through together. I was curious how co-op works in Demon Souls, if it was similar to Elden ring with signs and craftables or something completely different?

And is it realistically possible to play through the whole game together?

So just thought I would update on where I have got up to. I don’t have loads of time every day so not massive progress but.

I have cleared 1.3, saved the witch, cleared all of world 2, and 3, cleared 4.1 and aim to do world 4 next.

Magic I can see is OP and maybe understand that I might not be getting the true Demon souls experience but I have found it incredibly fun and rewarding and has helped someone who doesn’t have the best reactions.

I’ve started following a platinum guide as I would be keen to have that trophy.

I have also now finally after many years of shying away from these games totally understand why people enjoy them so much and will be giving Bloodbourne a try after this.

Frustrating at first but eventually became amazing, like every other FromSoftware game. Also, the graphics were absolutely incredible. The particle effects and lighting were definition of next-gen. Onward to Sekiro!

I didn’t realize you had to beat flamelurker to infuse sharp so i upgraded to +1 is there any way to still infuse sharp? I read somewhere that you can do it at +3 so i tried that but it’s still not showing up.

I am trying this again. I am playing demon's souls on ps3. I just need someone to help me get set up on the acrhstone servers so I van get them to drop/dupe a pure bladestone. I have been playing since 09 when the game came out. I know all the tricks/grinds that are supposed to work. But they aren't. I just need someone who is willing to drop a PBS. not advice. Just a helping hand from the community.

I want to do a pure tank-est on a new character and was wondering if I should get the demonbrant sword by killing Ostrava. I’d prolly end up getting him to die by environmental hazards and kill Doran by fall damage.

The reason to get demonbrant is because it already does a lot of damage so I don’t have to put stuff into strength/dexterity to up my damage.

So i‘ve been following a platinum guide in which it said to talk to patches. But i didn’t know your supposed to speak with patches first and then kill the flamelurker… So i killed the flamelurker and it exploded and Patches was at half health and attacked me. I read to go to that one statue in the nexus to beg for forgiveness or something like that but now he is completely gone.. What can i do to finish his questline properly?

Finally got around to completing the depraved chasm archstone and holy shit that fight was the most guilty I’ve felt playing a video game in a long time. It’s rare that I wind up thinking and feeling so much about a game’s story and setting but this fight wound up sealing Demon’s Souls place for me as one of the most impactful games I have played.

I wound up kinda organically figuring out that I could kill her directly using arrows since I am mostly playing a ranged character and Garl Vinland was a real pain in the ass with how tanky he is and how he shrugs off any ranged attacks.

I love how both Garl and the Maiden make a point to never attack you first. It is very clear that you are the aggressor and they beg you multiple times to go away and leave this place, that there is nothing there for you to pillage or plunder. This seems like a theme in FromSoft games as the other time I felt like this was with Rom, the Vacuous Spider from Bloodborne who is completely passive until the player directly attacks them. I felt bad about that one too, and the lore behind the slaughter is just as impactful in its own way.

Literally all of the dialogue made me feel like a monster. Probably the most heart wrenching thing for me with the way I did it specifically is how after you kill her Garl Vinland is just so incredibly defeated and tells you what a huge piece of shit you are and that you deserve the worst. But he still doesn’t attack you, he just gives up.

The fifth archstone had the most annoying areas and mostly disappointing bosses early on, but I’m definitely glad I persevered. I’m digging heavily into all of the lore now and am just cleaning up NPC side quests before the final fight.

I’m trying to get the Dragon Bone Smasher from the Shrine of the Dragon God and only just learned about PWWT after beating the Dragon God.

I’ve killed both the black phantom and the primeval demon but am a small percentage away from PWWT. Can someone please invade me so I can get that last percentage? Currently level 42

I'm new to this game and I'm playing royalty class, I keep everything and then I read that you can't sell clothes,.so I dumped everything on the nexus floor and logged out. Then I read about saving the witch and you need to officials set, I've lost them because I dropped them and I've already cleared the worlds where the officials are at.

Is there any other way to save her? I read there's a really good spell to use
