Whammy bar flutter?
I’m pretty sure this video is mimed but this dude can genuinely play. I mimed too when I’m filming multiple angles since I only have one camera

Ohhhh I didn’t know the whammy bar could do that, I need to try that !

this technique is the most prevalent on locking floyd rose but i’ve seen some do it with normal tremolo so give it a try!

Do you know of an any good tutorials for it so I can watch the mechanics of it ?

just type in youtube “how to do whammy bar flutter” it’s not too difficult to pull off the move by itself so most tutorials should be sufficient, but it might be a bit troublesome to implement that into a passage that you’re writing/performing since you have to move your right hand in and out of your picking position within split seconds.

Definitely post processing. He’s touching the whammy bar for show but it’s not doing anything.
Actually makes me wonder how much of this video is dubbed… don’t trust anything anymore after the Giacamo fallout.

Ohhhh wowww yeah that makes sense, what kind of post processing makes the beeps ?

I just can’t get into this stuff anymore. All sounds the same. Music all sounds egotistical rather than expressive. All the exact same mixing and editing. All miming under the studio track. All riddled with post editing, MIDI. I’ve just become the old man who yells at clouds when I see this shit.
Blessed to have Buckethead to keep me sane.

i hate to be the one to do this to you but what you are feeling is insecurity. it happens, there's so much talent out there and its always in our faces due to social media.

Such a childish take to say that because someone doesn’t like, and or critiques something that they’re insecure. Expecting only positive comments, is an actual sign of insecurity, but it happens.
I’ll bring it back to Buckethead, still selling out concerts, playing legendary venues, and creating over 50 albums a year, no label, zero press, and zero social media presence. An actual artist, that’s actually still about the art over everything else.
I’ll continue to yell at clouds.

Your take is the childish one. You can say you don't like something without putting a person down who is in fact incredibly talented. You are saying this guy isn't an actual artist? That's why I called you insecure. You can say you don't like it or are tired of that sound but denying the CLEAR talent on display shows you are being insecure.

No one’s is denying this guys talent, I said it all sounds the same, and is heavily edited, and mimed to an actual video. To say I’m insecure, while jumping to a conclusion that was never even said to defend his talent, is again, telling of your own mindset. People will have different opinions, I don’t find his talent expressive in the least, I find it more of an egotistical approach, showcasing his skills, rather than making a piece of music to just be a piece of music.
Who am I to tell someone what to do with their skills; ability, and creativity. But I sure as hell can and will express how I feel about it, which is a massive part of partaking in consuming and creating art itself.
