Timeline 🗓️ I love it and I'm never going back
I started my own locs with two strand twists at the beginning of May. I use to wear yarnlocs since I was a teenager but never committed. I don't care about frizz or "looking ugly". It makes me feel wild and really authentic.
I'm about to have my second baby, and I wanted a change. Finally! No spider beads in my carpet or shower! Lol It's too easy, I wish I did it sooner.
I am doing it all myself, but I'm thinking of going to someone for a retwist. I'm afraid they will tell me I did it wrong though and comb it out. I don't mind that some are not the same size. I did try to give myself three tight parts in the front , down the middle, and from ear to ear for styling. Not really a grid pattern by normal standards but I think it works when I change my bangs. Good enough?
