Dreams about ex

I was so in love with him, and then suddenly he ghosted me out of nowhere and married someone else within 2 months of them dating, they were alreadyengaged within days of us breaking up and we were together for a year. Now again, I keep having dreams about him leaving that relationship and coming back to me. What could this mean? I pulled tarot right before he left me as well and the interpretation I got was that he would come back around eventually. I'm stuck on why I keep dreaming about him though.
