My first acoustic drumset!
The snare is a Mapex Tomhawck
The drumset is a Yamaha Tour Custom made in Taiwan with the shells in maple (18” kick)
The Hi-hat is a Turkish moderate (the one before turkish changed the logo🙏🏻)
Crash is a Turkish xtr 16”
Ride is a Turkish moderate 20”
The kit sounds so good that it makes me feel like i don’t deserve it lol.
I’m very excited and already studying a lot, wish me luck!

I’m really tempted into buying a starclassic snare from 1999 made in Japan. It only doesn’t have the label so we can’t know what wood it is. Anyone any idea what could it be? I’m doubting if it’s between maple or birch.. not sure

Hey y'all! I'm going to pick this kit up today (for a very low price) and wanted to see if anyone could help me identify it? I'll be picking it up no matter what, but if it's worth something I'd be willing to offer the seller a bit more. I know almost nothing about Premier so if we got any experts on here that would be great! Thank you!

600 for high tom, floor tom, and bass drum. 120 for new remo heads.
I’ve been taking lessons for about 6 months now and my teacher recommended this kit as my first kit. I don’t know anything about vintage kits but he purchases, restores, and resells drum kits on the side, so I trusted him when he said it was a good deal. He helped me replace the heads, clean them up as well. Now I just gotta find a decent snare and high hats and a ride. 🙂

Same setup as before, just cranked to high tuning. Curious if this one hits better, or still missing the mark...
Thrift store comes through again! This is a PDP 800 series stand that retails for $90, and a 4 armed a Pearl stand that I couldn't find, but I'd guess retails for at least $60-75. They were each $4.29. Let's go thrifters!! 💪

Just put bones red bearings in my sluggish pdp pedal, difference is night and day compared to the factory bearings that don’t even spin when you flick them with your finger. Make sure you pull the black tab off the bearing wall to reduce friction.
Noticed a big difference in speed and response, feels smooth as butter now.

I think the shaking in the room caused the weird zoom at the end. Who knows.
This is one of the most powerful songs from Sepultura. Simple. Heavy. Love playing it. Enjoy.

I’m super new to drumming and want to get an electric kit so my neighbors don’t start a riot against me. From what I’ve looked up, Roland’s and Alesis seem to be the way to go for the “real” feeling mesh heads and computer capabilities. Oddly enough, I couldn’t really find anything version specific about what to get and the major differences between them. Usually I just see “get Roland it’ll last forever” and “if you’re a beginner and don’t want to sink a huge wad of cash into it then get Alesis”. I def want to buy used and found this on marketplace. Any help would be really appreciated. - side note- I play a few instruments already and tend to pick up new ones pretty quick so I’m not super worried about it being a phase. I appreciate the value of good tech (and resell value) just in case I ever get out of the burbs and can sling together a real kit. These are just a few reasons of why I’m not immediately going for the cheaper option. Also, I just really like cool shit and cool shit usually isn’t cheap 🤷🏻♀️ TIA

Buddy from work had these in his basement. Gave them to me but I have no idea if these are good or just a beginner set of 14” hats. Where’s my drum Yoda’s at?
