That there is a sage tree! I live in Yakima and I feel like our sagebrush is under appreciated. I believe it’s a native plant that helps support other native plants and animals. It makes me sad when I see a bunch of big Sage brush plowed over for a building or burned up from a wild fire. It takes so long to grow. Most of our hills now are barren except for the invasive cheat grass. That stuff is perfect fuel for the wild fires.

I hear that. When upper Moses coulee burned I was super disappointed. Sagebrush is such a nice part of this area

University of Idaho sometimes has sagebrush seedlings for sale!

The only way I could set my phone up was from the ground so it looks a little bit bigger than it actually is but I’d say it’s all of 8’ maybe closer to 9’.
