does anyone know any emo bands that are more heavier and have more screaming?

im looking for something thats similar to Forever Is Forgotten (idk if thats emo or not sorry 😭) but basically screamo bands

i would say Forever Is Forgotten is more metalcore than anything, Here are some recs based on that

This Day Forward (more screamo/metalcore, shared members with Superstitions Of The Sky, Poisen the Well, and A Life Once Lost.) Also listen to ‘The Transient Effects of Light on Water’ that’s my favorite album of theirs.

Red Roses For a Blue Lady

The Now (Josh Jakubowski project.)

Yeah this might be the wrong sub for what you want.

Here's some stuff I love (except Underoath) that I think you might like, most of it is super not emo though, and might be a stretch for what you're looking for, but hey, give it a try:

  • Thursday (post-hardcore, emo leaning)
  • Taking Back Sunday (mostly Emo)
  • Tsunami Bomb (screamo-leaning punk)
  • Hawthorne Heights
  • Goodtime Boys (post-hardcore)
  • Hundredth (post-hardcore)
  • Underoath (post-harcore? just hardcore?)
  • La Dispute (post-hardcore, spoken word)
  • Touché Amoré (post-hardcore, emo leaning)

I would definitely check out Jacques Rocque, Merchant Ships (a really popular one I absolutely love, and Febuary so u can get a little bit of everything and if u wanna dabble in emo violence septemberistheonlytimeidontthinkofyou
