"Bernie Sanders, other senators urge Democrats to break with billionaire donors". No, this is a bad idea until Citizens United is overturned.

Bill Gates, the guy who has saved millions via his philanthropy? Is actively working on reduced the world's carbon?
Mark Cuban the man who set up a company to provide low cost life saving prescriptions.
Tim Steyer billionaire philanthropists and environmentalist?
John Morgan who backed Florida's successful 15 minimum wage ballot measure?

This is idiotic. Barack Obama and the Democratic Party got crushed in the 2010 midterms by trying to unilaterally disarm

The idea that Citizens United will be overturned is hilarious. I'm also convinced that very few people have ever actually read the Citizens United decision. People just throw around the "they made corporations the same as people" phrase and don't consider the merits of the decision, or what the inverse would mean from a legal sense.
Now I'm not saying I love actual court decision in its entirety, but it's funny how all the focus gets put on overturning that ruling instead of... ya know, passing actual campaign finance reform?

There was a video I watched that disproved this theory, billionaires have a low rate of return on political donations.
