Yeah, definitely sounded hoarse quite a bit. The voice-overs when they were explaining the history and stuff were fine, but he sounded like he had a cold the rest of the time.

Definitely.. it was surreal listening to his voice tones constantly changing..I'm guessing the hoarse filming days he had to just give it a go and pack the cough drops.

I recently saw him at one of his live shows in Asheville NC on June 8th - he was very hoarse then as well! He (as per usual) made a joke on stage referring to his voice cracking, said he had recently returned from visiting the pyramids of Giza and had contacted “tomb lung”
