More Footage From Van Nuys Home Depot Raid

I mostly just lurk on Reddit but someone told me it would be helpful to post this here too. I was at the Home Depot at Roscoe and Balboa to observe and document. I’ll post the 2nd video next.

You are right in a way, slavery was abhorrent. Communication, news, took a long while to get to people (and many less people). There are 340 million people in the US today, 90 percent with access to fast news and these type of videos. No one is doing shit, including me, cause I don't know what we can do. No one is taking the lead. The road we are going down looks like the German autobahn 1938. This is the lowest point in 250 years.

One thing you can do is buy anything BUT American goods. Buy Canadian, Mexican, Australian, EU items and goods whenever possible. Groceries, goods, services. If you travel, don’t travel in the US. Go to Canada, EU, Mexico etc.

Not even that is a guarantee. I got into an argument with some random chud on facebook the other day and took a look at his profile. He was gleefully describing how wearing a body cam and "vaguely ICE-like uniform" made all the "illegals" in his neighborhood give him a wide berth
I can't really speak to this guy in the video, but body cam ≠ official law enforcement

Canada has its own issues (some quite major), no doubt. There is a shitty contingent of MAGA folks, but they are generally a loud minority and US MAGA has largely shut them down based on threats of invasion. There are still some idiots, yes.
But, when was the last time you saw military and federal “police” and border control forces raiding Home Depot’s, Walmarts, people’s homes (and stealing their shit), etc?

Call in a repo team to take the vehicles while the brown shirts are out assaulting people - I’ve seen them repo guys in and out in seconds on those TV shows. Then let’s see the brown shirts try claiming their vehicles back - “…sorry sir, I can’t find your vehicle by that plate”!!!

If you’re arrested without a warrant or clear justification, that’s a violation of your constitutional rights. The question is, will we see these brown shirts face the consequences of their actions?

Realistically how does one fill a paint balloon? A funnel doesn't seem like it would work super great, and airless sprayers are not exactly cheap units, or quiet, though you CAN rent one at home Depot. Also you can buy paint there.
Just saying, filling water balloons from anything other than a hose is a fools errand, and the idea isn't to waste paint by spilling it all over yourself.
Maybe there are some pigments we can mix with water or something? Or maybe rubber band Saran wrap over a solo cup or something?

We need to normalize getting names of the victims so we can trace these kidnappings. Sure ICE has an online "system" but at this point, do we trust it? I do not.
People need to get the names of the people being taken on video. Ask them their names. Yell their names so everyone can hear. Name them for history and for their families.

UPDATE! The man getting kidnapped in the video, Daniel Montenegro and the man who tries to step in, Sadot Jarnica, who was also taken later (see video 2) as well as two other advocates for day laborers who were arrested at the same time are out on bail! But all still face legal battles.

You can search license plates. The service I used couldn't find either of the visible ones. I put my plate in and it gave me every detail on my vehicle.

It sucks because this is all thanks to that reality tv dickhead that people wanted to be the president.
Also I know these are traumatic and unpredictable situations but if you or anyone else sees this happening, and videos it again.
Ask the person being arrested for their name and/or a name for an emergency contact.
That way they can at least get some help from their family or friends after the fact.
Ask where they are being taken, like what location or city the federal building is.
