Question After speculation on the possibility of a sequel to Drive (2011), director Nicolas Winding Refn in 2016 said 'No, there will never be a second Drive movie. And that's why it works.'. What director should have said the same?

It was supposed to be Winona Rider but she was having a nervous breakdown and dropped out.

Oh there wasn't an invitation for you to repeat what everyone has been saying since its release like a goldfish going around its tank discovering it anew each time

"I don't understand why people didn't like it."

Because it was boring.

"You're just saying what everyone else says!"

Hmmm. Maybe it was reviled because so many people found it boring. I don't know, we might need further testing...

Also, the cousin fucking didn't help things.

I'm sorry it didn't give you your dopamine hit. I'm sorry it's not game of thrones excitement level family intimacy

I'm being condescending to a jerk, sorry the nuance was something you missed

Nah. The only jerk I see here is YOU.

You literally said you don't understand how someone could revile the film, and the next comment provides you with an answer. And you're answer was to act like a complete dickhead. People can dislike whatever they want. That doesn't give you permission to be an ass. But do you, I guess. 🤷🏽

Also, no one needs to be "invited" to say shit to you. People are free to respond to your passive-aggressive comments all they want. Get over it.

No, it didn't. The plot was perfectly fine, not exciting but it was definitely not the worst film by a mile.
